I haven't heard a thing about the Neocom Groups bug that aren't saved after logging off and reset to default at each new logging.

Not sure if this allready here , atleast i didnt see it in patch notes.

Im in amarr fw and when im in defensive plex, have fight etc. , rat/rats in plex attacks my drone/drones.

And yes im sure , my drones not attacking rat first.

Hi, I have had a problem of my modules disappearing on my ship.
I mean they are still on the fitting, they are there, i can use them by pressing F1 or F2 but I cannot actually see the cycle time or anything. I have run another account on my laptop to check that it has not been a problem with my patch download but that account worked perfectly fine. I could see all the modules and everything.

I have tried turning down my Anti-Aliasing option in the settings menu and my shader quality is perma turned off (for better performance). I am hoping that this problem will be rectified by the down time (6-12-2012 Australian time) but it annoys me greatly and it restricts me from doing things within the game.

The AI has changed. ALL the NPCs are now like WormHole "sleeper" rats. They will swap agro at any time. They will attack drones and other people that come into your sites if they choose.

This is quite frustrating, losing my custom neocom groups time and again only to lose it by switching characters.

I am not sure if this has been addressed or not but I can not click on anyones name in local. Other channels were fine, but local no.

The random UI sounds are very annoying (Also the non random ones). Also the range of the camera not scaling with sound level, like exploding jetcans is annoying.

Also the safety switch keeps resetting on relog......

It would be really nice if mods that have a timer on them (cloaks, micro jump drives etc...) for when they can be reactivated, actually had the timer in the mod tooltip. Trying to guess when 2-3 minutes are over kind of sucks.

Otherwise I have been thoroughly happy with Retribution, and the response form CCP in the HELP chat channels has been remarkable.

Not sure if this has been mentioned. Can't paste in chat window, nothing shows up. Inventory with divisions no longer remembers what division you last accessed.

*New sounds are kinda weird, specially the "KLOOOOONK!" when a wreck / jetcan appears in space after killing a rat / salvaging a non-empty wreck, even having camera at max far-distance, (when noises should not be heard, still the "KLOOOONK" sounds at max level) Gets annoying when salvaging...

*HUD targeting croshairs ingame, the circle around targets is freaking HUGE, clutters the screen when a bunch are targeted.. Pre-patch smaller squares where better, and did not cluttered the screen that much.
Make targeting circles smaller.

*HUD target icon "Pizzas" do take a lot more of space than previously, having TWO rows of targets clutters me up to almost 50% of the screen, when in pre-patch, was only about 25-30%. (as well can only fit 6 targets per row instead the 7 pre-patch)
Also those "Pizzas" are harder to check what is being targeted there (icons seem to be darker?)

*HUD target "Pizzas" appear in multiple rows when selecting enough targets (like pre-patch), but when selected targets dissapear (after being killed or salvaged), the remaining targets fom lower row do NOT auto-sort back to first row, .. and i end having an empty upper row and a filled lower row of targets.
Specilly bothering when salvaging and having 11 targets, that fill half of the screen. Prepatch these autosorted back, now have to do it manually after each wreck is salvaged , to go saving screenspace

I notice that the horrid klunks & the pizzas have not yet been fixed, they arnt bad they are terrible!!!

We agree that using the input fields to change values with the scroll wheel is harder after our change to scroll bar functionality. We are releasing a patch today that will address it as follows:

In the case of windows like the Market order window, the focus will be on the input field that is selected by default, and as long as the user has his mouse inside the window itself he can use the scroll wheel to change the value.

This means you don't have to move the mouse inside the input field itself anymore, just inside the window and you don't need to click the input field because the field is already in focus.

If there are more than one input fields in the window, you will need to select the input field you want to modify if it is not the default one and therefore not in focus when you first open the window. Once the input field you want to modify is in focus you can use the scroll wheel while the mouse is within the window itself.

This will make the area you can use for the input field of choice much larger and should eliminate the issue players are having with this specific use case.

Question about the New NPC AI and Bounties on the same.


I have not noticed (In the occational npc's that I see) any raise in bounties for these "rats" .
Would it not be fair to the players if the bounties got higher as they now are more difficult to deal with and potentially even take a longer time to kill due to varying challenging tactics from the npc's?

I havent done ratting or missioning in a while but to me it seems like the correct thing to do.


If not then alot of players will be majorly dissappointed at this change.

Since after DT today, I cannot see my "Route" in the top left corner. The words "Route 8 jumps" are there, but not the waypoint icons.

Are you in the Planetary Interaction view? If so it's normal and should revert to the normal mode once you go out of that view. If that is not the case I will have someone take a closer look.

I actually just fixed it.

Right click in space > Configure > "Route" was unticked. Don't know why, but ok. I ticked it and the waypoints re-appeared.


EDIT
However, my original problem still persists (from page 25, I believe)

Even with graphics optimized for Quality I still cannot see any of my turrets on my Maelstrom nor explosions of enemy ships.

I have performed a clean re-install of the EVE client, and guess what: The problem persists! (Thanks CCP...............)

It can happen to the first client I open, or it can happen to the 2nd or 3rd or whichever number you pick. It is utterly random.
The client hangs and dies just after I have pressed the character I want to enter the game with, and the only thing I can do it to keep restarting the client, until magically all of a sudden, I can log on as normal.

What's even more weird, is that I can actually SEE my spaceship appearing in space (using another client already logged in), but for the offending client that hangs - well, it just sits there at the 'Entering game as XXXXX' screen, and never budges until it eventually crashes or I kill it. Ace coding boys....!


Intel i920, nVidia GTX 590. 12GB RAM.

Yet another update.

Having reinstalled the client (to no effect), I have also tried installing several different version of graphics card drivers including the latest for my card (306 .97). Still the problem persists. Client hangs and crashes after character selection, but the ship enters space for everyone to shoot at (verified with other accounts). Brilliant!

In case you're wondering - this problem has never occurred before, until the deployment of the Retribution patch.

Ore Hold (Retriever) doesnt remain open when docking

All container (holds , cans etc.) dont remember where I had them open last & which view I was using...

Could Klang take the (now rotting) pizzas & the launcher out as they leave the building plz.
