EVE Online: Retribution 1.0 Issues

After the patch, I've realized that eve has grown a huge population of crying sissies and whining little spoiled children. It seems that the patch has had an adverse effect on real life (was this planned or simply a bug?)...

Maybe somehow the patch it killing babies or stealing people's souls in the real world; it would certainly explain so many peoples' insane attitudes. And here, I had thought that Eve Online was just a game and had no painfully debilitating impact on the health and sanity of real life people in the REAL WORLD. I suppose it is after all a matter of life and death.

Thank you CCP... for putting up with such people, and yet still improving the game. Shlt happens, you devs may not always see the future, but you'll fix all the issues in time. Fixing whiny people... that on the other hand may sadly never be possible.

***Reporting bugs IS beneficial and necessary; just don't be a dlck about it...

New Bounties rules:
A few infantile players in the "Help" channel thought they were so funny and put bounties on whoever posted with a comment / question. So now i have to play the game forever with a stupid big red letters WANTED on my profile..Been playing this for 2 months. May just be quitting ! [:Ugh

CCP : WAS THIS YOUR INTENT FOR NEW BOUNTY RULES ?!

Mining Rocks, Shining Word "Locked"

I use Win7 SP1, HD4890.


I mine in a retriever, 2 targets. I noticed that the rocks I have locked on will show the word "locked" in the locking circle, as how it will when in locking progress and they will shining very frequentlly until unlocked.

Sometimes, one rock will show the shining word "locked", and the other one wont.

Sometimes, they are just fine.

That is all.

STFU. We're paying for a product, and when it proves itself broken after a patch (YET AGAIN!), we have every right to complain.
Don't like it? GTFO!

Other MMO's manage to patch without the huge amount of new bugs that CCP's socalled 'programmers' manage to introduce into the client, every.... single..... time! It's embarrassing!

12/3 evening I did a usual "worlds collide" mission with no problem .... just now I tried it (after the patch) with the same ship but I had to warp out 5 times on the angels side and was in hull 1 time. Then entered the gurista 2nd leg and was immediately overwhelmed with 5 frigs with warp scram and full agro destroying the ship. You can see from the log files for this mission this is not obtainable with standard t2 loadout let alone mine. I understand that the missions have changed but it should be expressed that certain lvl4's are unobtainable without a group. Collide and extravanga are one of the most challanging lvl 4's out there, I don't understand why these can't be done solo with a deadspace equiped ship let alone a t2 with propper skills.

This has probably already been mentioned 30 times but let's make it 31. :)

Salvage drones stop after the first wreck IF you've already targeted a wreck. You will have to order them to salvage each and every wreck individually, which is sort of a wrist breaker.

There is a workaround though. When you take your salvage boat in, don't target anything, launch those drones then click salvage. They will go thru every wreck they can as expected and you won't have targeting issues afterwards with drones suddenly stopping. Hope this helps you guys.

Maybe a new line is in order, "salvage" and "salvage all" for the new drones.

Suprisingly effective drones. I like them.

alt+tabbing to windows and then back will cause my ship to completely vanish. Jumping to another star system or otherwise reloading grid seems to fix it though.. I have nvidia gtx 590.

After jump-cloning you will be unable to re-activate the skill you're training untill you session change (undock station/relog, etc)

This has happened to me even before the expansion. I believe it was usually when i would go into a planet view while working on my PI. Seems to just be a display glitch because the shield/armor/structure hp all show as maxed.

I also had this same problem. Happened on multiple planets even with empty customs offices. Need this fixed ASAP...I can't import any materials!

Also Seems laggy in chat boxes switching from one to another.

Also is it me or does the client use more resources a Huge amount compared to pre-patch? cos I could run 9 + clients before patch now its a struggle running 4.

other then that well done nt seen a roll out like this in the past 5 years, smooth not a 24 hour dt or emergency reboots wow..

The disappearing ship video driver glitch is intermittent for me. I do have a Nvidia M-series video card.

Bug: Problems adjusting settings during session change:
1) Select gate in overview, click the warpto/jump icon
2) Use 'esc' to open control panel
3) Adjust sound level while the jump session change is happening
4) After the jump, while the control panel is still open, the client SEEMS like it freezes and never completes the session change. What actually happens though, is that the control panel is keeping the background the same... but....
5) After closing the control panel, you seem to be in space as normal, but the little slider thing from the control panel that tells the percent of volume level is still on the screen. The slider id the only thing from the control panel that did not disappear, and seems to be floating in space. Tried a bunce of stuff to get it to disappear, and finally got it to go away by closing and restarting the client.

Comment: I want the Jukebox back. Had to turn off the music completely because on one of my chars in the station I was in at the time it was playing the most horrid song. Had an unending high pitched metronome sound in it that was constant, loud, and unbearable.

You need to offer the whole Eve SoundTrack in an archive for easy dropping into a folder and creation of playlists. Filenames informative enough to know which is which.

ok ive tried a bunch of times to move stuff in to my poco and am unable to do so i am losing isk by the minute here this is ridiculous normaly am prty relaxed but im mad i want to know how CCP is planing to reimburse us palnetary industrialists this is highly unacceptable

logged the game, i was in station and no problem, undocked ... and black screen, all black, are you going to be the New Zealand Sponsor ? It could work so, the game doesn't.

Five attempts now to log the game inspace and always ALL BLACK, it's not a matter of graphics as you said CCP, it's all black, nothing loads, no windows, no interface, nothing, it's not matter of some space objects like you said CCP, it's all black!

Can't play!

And of course, before you say it's an issue with nVidia render device, i've an AMD !!!
