…and I made that claim, where, exactly? My claim is that highsec doesn't particularly need special representation (and I've yet to see a good case being made for an issue where such representation is required).

As for actual representation on the CSM, highsec is represented in CSM7; CSM5 was shock-full of them

Sounds like we need some of those good old days back then for some more balanced representation. Past year of CSM dominated NULL SEC CSMs in my eyes appeared to be punctuated by a scandle & a riotAttention

Can you think of some benefit to hisec that came out of CSM 5?

For one, we already have that representation, reused since the good old days.
For another, the representation of old didn't produce much in the way of results — in fact, some of them were rather disastrous due to the limited perspective they had to offer. What they did produce rather seems to indicate that highsec as a region doesn't have any issues that need special representation.

You can't represent something you don't understand.

They understand it enough they've been playing it for a year and they represent it better because they are in the HI SEC trenches not space rich bittervets

So what you want is Ankhesentapemkah, then?

This CSM7 results: we got the UI which we were told by the CSM before hand would be filled with awesomesause and CSM7's head booted before he could even sit down for office.

CSM6 results we got Jita riots & at the tailend a scandle.

What big misjustice did CSM 5 bring forth?

No, what would be a nice counter-balance is someone who was engaged and motivated and interested in a Hi-Sec that wasn't nefed into the ground.

JUPITER AND THE FROGS

While the frogs were hopping about in the freedom of their pond they began shouting to Jupiter that they wanted a king who could hold their dissolute habits in check. Jupiter laughed and bestowed on the frogs a small piece of wood which he dropped all of a sudden into their pond. As the wood splashed lightly into the water, it terrified the timid frogs. They plunged into the mud and hid there a long time until one frog happened to raise her head cautiously up out of the water. After studying the king, she summoned the other frogs. Putting aside their fear, the frogs all raced over and began jumping on the piece of wood, rudely making fun of it. When the frogs had showered their king with shame and scorn, they asked Jupiter to send them another one. Jupiter was angry that they had made fun of the king he had given them, so he sent them a water-snake, who killed the frogs one by one with her piercing sting. As the water-snake was happily eating her fill, the useless creatures ran away, speechless in their fright. They secretly sent a message to Jupiter through Mercury, begging him to put a stop to the slaughter but Jupiter replied, 'Since you rejected what was good in order to get something bad, you better put up with it - or else something even worse might happen!'

Where has a current CSM rep said he wanted "hisec nerfed into the ground"?

Basically the page in the CSM7 minutes where they all cheered on the breaking of Incursions announced by CCP Soundwave in the discussion during the NULL SECTION .

…neither of which had anything to do with CSM6. In fact, if anything, the riots were caused by CSM5s inability to get the message across to CCP a year earlier (granted, they tried… but failed because they didn't have the agency of CSM6). The scandal was the start of CSM7, by the way. CSM6, in turn, gave us little things, ship rebalancing, and space value adjustments that have pretty greatly benefited highsec.

How canyou say the Mittens scandle wasn't part of CSM6 it actually engulfed both CSM 6&7...
Well then the past 3 CSM's look to me to be one unmitigated disaster after another.

Ah yes, the uncontrollable and easily farmable isk faucet. How dare the CSM cheer on a nerf of that. The audacity. It's almost as if they might want the game to be better, instead of absolute ****.

Actually I'd like to whine about CSM 6 not preventing or trying to reverse the NULL anom nerf which caused the flood of NULL into HI SEC Incursions which soiled my space with thier mass of unwashed bodies

This thread is still going on?

Listen. The only one whining about anything is you, whining about highsec representation. Your arguments are the worst popular tripe, rife with shifting goalposts, and your logic has holes in it I could drive a semi truck through.

I'm tired of you whining about highsec has no representation, when the highsec representatives that have been put forward have looked like absolute nut-jobs, that make 9/11 truthers seem like fair and balanced individuals. If a highsec candidate that didn't act like an absolute schizo or an unhinged conspiracy theorist, came forward, I'd vote for them. That being said you are definitely out of the running.
