We are an merc alliance and we do not accept players making us look bad. We take the merc thing serious. I can accept some trolling, a bit of smacktalk, but there are limits what is acceptable. We do not mess up players killboards, as I wouldn't accept it when people would try to mess up ours. This rule will be added to our alliance rules.

I did some checking and found more unacceptable posts and chats by Oblivion Maximus, which are also way over acceptable limits. Therefor I have decided that he will be kicked from alliance. Not because of the dec, because we like war decs. Would be stupid if we didn't as a merc alliance. We fight our battles as we do think is best. Had some chats with some of the Nemesis guys before and they are on the same frequency. They also do not fight when they know they will get killed. So we're not that different. I don't care what people think of us skillwise, I let the killboard speak for itself. Half of PVP is knowing when to fight and knowing when not to.

Some advice to the PRONS : Stop talking in the 3rd person. Stop messing up people's forum posts, just because they are smart enough to pick the fights they want to, when they want to. Stop saying we are so bad, just because you had some kills and last but not least...Act as you ask from others.

Until we meet again.....

Thank you for your effort. Time well spent. You see, if I were as mad (or as old) as you, I'd prolly say now that I will make sure that all your current and future War/Grief Targets will receive our extensive list of Pron-Alts and frequent helpers (along with my own personal über-list of course, which even includes the first and last names of your grandparents), however, I've got better things to do.

Are you serious Mr. Tomaso? This kind of stuff is the last resort of hurt internet feelings and just embarassing, period.

Take it easy, less hate and good luck.

Ah, hypocrisy, how delightful. I've never seen Marmite without their logistics.

Funny, because I'm never seen with it--barring fleet ops.

How nice for you that you were able to pursue your mercenary contracts - whenever I've been logged on, i've seen perhaps 5 Marmite pilots online, along with about 6 of their neutral alts. Locators and scouts generally found you AFK docked.

I'm not my entire alliance. I'd be quite surprised if you found me afk docked, as rarely as I do such a thing. I dislike stations. They make me easy to find when I don't care to be found.

I only had two encounters with PRON in the past week. The first was a fleet fight that went nowhere: some shots were exchanged but no one could apply the DPS to break neutral logi tanks before someone docked up. The second was one of your guys being obvious bait trying to engage my Loki with a Rupture on the undock. When I called him on it, he didn't bother trying to grab me when I undocked again.

Before you chestbeat too loudly, I spent quite a bit of time in places besides the Uedama undock rings and never saw any of you. It seems you guys were satisfied to sit in station and wait for us to come to you. I got more excitement from a war with Kicking Smurfs, who actively hunted me several times. I was free to hunt and execute our merc contracts without any interference.

I won't argue your effectiveness--you killed ****, we didn't--but let's remember that you're boasting about fighting on a highsec station with invincible logi at your back. That's a rather specific skill set, so I wouldn't go so far as to suggest (as some of your mates have) that Marmite pilots are incompetent because we didn't play that game as well as you.

I also *heard* that some of your guys might have pulled an in-space corp change before a fight. If so, that's a rules violation and has been for a very long time. If not... v0v, the battlefield can be confusing sometimes.

PRONS is currently in a much more casual mode than you guys are. We're generally wildly outnumbered by you guys and generally speaking the situation needed a fair amount of peripheral observation before becoming engageable. The combination of these two made it relatively difficult for us to fight on any kind of terms outside of Uedama... and let's face it, your guys consistently brought fights to us anyway so it's not like we were missing anything.

We did come pretty close to killing your dudes well outside Uedama once or twice but there was at least one narrow escape that I saw etc.

Your third paragraph... I'm not so sure. Maybe you've heard horror stories from the battered survivors who drifted ashore clinging to pieces of scrap metal, but we never once had more logistics than you did. Not one single fight. In fact, I'm not even sure we ever used more than 1 logi at a time.

And lawl... no, we're not dumb enough to break the rules. We know how to do this at least as well as you do. GL petitioning though.

Speaking as a client, The Marmite Collective has been and likely will be the most organized and professional group of EVE PvPers I have ever seen.

Flawless autonomy: Their skill in solo fights allows for fast response time and quick-and-dirty opportunity kills, but when they travel in a pack, they have the smooth organization of a single entity, with the intel and counter-intel skills of an OpSec.

Professional: No bragging, no bigtalk, they let their works speak volumes. Whether popping 40 ships in a single evening or being the lone pilot in a one-on-five fight playing for keeps, I never see any ego-stroking, just a smooth confidence from players looking for the next challenge, and having a great time doing it

From my experiences with them, they value honor over ISK, they are in it for the fights. I will be a regular client of The Marmite Collective, not just for their services, but also for the awe of watching them do battle.

Thanks for the kind words, Pinky. I mean, there was the word honour in there, and that makes me sad, but everything else you said was the nicest.

Also, for the record: Skunks isn't an organization that gets along with many people, but we really dig the dudes in this alliance. Kicking Smurfs especially has been a joy to work with, and while we don't get to hang out with CEVL and many of the guys that used to be in Count With Teddy that much due to TZ, they're also wonderful human beings and cool to hang out with when we get the chance.

Narf!

Look, The Skunkworks generally doesn't like people, we like shitting on people. We've found a rare exception with the Marmite Collective, they're professionals in every sense of the word who make hi-sec wars a joy for us and provide us with lovely targets everyday!

In short: YAY Marmite!

Also did you know: "marmite" (French: [maʁmit]), a French term for a large, covered earthenware or metal cooking pot. British Marmite was originally supplied in earthenware pots, but since the 1920s has been sold in glass jars of approximately the same shape. Implying...

Also did you know: Marmite is the concentrated bacterial dregs of a fermentation process that was not considered to be an edible substance until a German scientist tested it on animals or something in the late 19th century.

Not the most appealing thing to base a PVP alliance off of, but then again neither are their tactics huehuehue
