I'm a noob and I want to learn pvp.

I don't know if this is the right forum to ask, but I'm looking for a friendly 0.0 pvp corp.
I've been playing on and off for the last few years, and I'm tired of mission running.

I have a mic, and talk fluent english.
SP is around 8mill, mostly into gunnery, drones and gallente spaceships.

I have very little knowledge about pvp, but I learn fast and I've been playing computer games for over a decade.

I don't know how long I'll be playing for this time, but if I like playing with you I'll probably stay longer :D

Feel free to ask any questions you'd like.

This is not the place to look.

The the recruitment forum section (though... friendly may be hard to come by).

I thought that recruitment forum was just for corporations who wanted to advertise. What?

I don't need a big fancy corp or anything, just someone to play with that can teach me some stuff.

^ this.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

Get out.

edit- OP if you dont have any luck with the recruitment section I suggest you fit out few Incursus. Look for an area of space/corp your interested in and throw yourself at the locals. You'd be surprised how many people get recruited into really tight groups like that.

Maybe you should try Red vs Blue. They are not a null sec corp, but they will take new players.

Yeah try Red vs Blue first. They can teach you the basics.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Agony Empire and Flying Dangerous are both NPC 0.0 alliances that are excellent for teaching new members how to live in 0.0 and PvP.

Get in a rifter, fly to 0.0, shoot everything that moves.

You have 8 mil SP and haven't gotten into PvP yet? Seriously dude it isn't that hard to start, tons of corps that accept noobs out there.

The corp recruitment tool goes by SP, lots of corps you can join, dont be an ape, use a tool.

This person is wrong.

See about joining Red vs. Blue, a highly active PvP organization that is newbie friendly. Also see about joining some of the northern alliances, particularly ones that are members of the Clusterfuck Coalition. Unless you're a long time member of the SomethingAwful.com forums you won't be getting into Goonswarm but some of our allies have looser recruitment requirements and share our newbie friendly culture.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Alternatively, grab a Rifter/Incursus/Merlin/Punisher and head out to 0.0 and start attacking whatever you come across. Demand entry into whatever alliance you're attacking as ransom for no longer attacking them.

Note: This will likely only work on members of Goonswarm or TEST Alliance Please Ignore. Everyone else is too serious business to give an adorable newbie a leg up.

I'm sure that he won't mind me posting this...

Sid started PvPing from Day 3 and more or less just went straight into Low and just... PvPed.

The barrier to entry is illusory.

Twenty. Twenty Rifters. Fly into 0.0, shoot everything that moves, then do it again 19 more times. Take notes on what you did and what went wrong.

Read a bunch.

Go over your notes.

Take 20 more Rifters. Do the hole thing again.

Heck, you can do this for a LONG time without getting too bored. And there's a good chance you'll get recruited or find a corp you want to join on the way.

(NB: This can also be done with Incursuses, Merlins, Punishers, etc.)
