CCP do you remember when you apologized to the players because you were insensitive to their needs? I think now its time to have a player vote about what they want in EVE. I proprose a confidence/no confidence vote on whether we should make 1.0 and .9 space no combat zones. Only one (1) vote per account created so many months ago.

The problems of victory are more agreeable than the problems of defeat, but they are no less difficult.

This vote already happened.
Burn Jita (1.0 System) happened and CCP stated they would not interfere (and kept to their word).

What has happened in the last month (I think) that makes a re-vote necessary ?

This not the same. This is a vote by the players on whether to have safe areas in EVE.

Well with CSM being out for the own needs, and goons with enough numbers now to basicaly dictate what ever CCP put into the game or alter. Eve's days are number'd.

No this isnt another whine thread tm

There should be more customer surveys from CCP to find out what thier playerbase wants, and not jsut the playerbase who spams the forums, or plays on sisi.

I would suggest e-mail surveys, but alot of scam companys/fishing sites are posing as CCP which makes it hard to tell which are genuinly from CCP and which arnt

The players voted as well, there was a huge threads about burn Jita.
I believe the consensus was it was fine (you are welcome to go back and count though)

So, after years and years of an "HTFU" attitude, you're wondering if CCP is going to soften the game?

It's been requested since highsec was implemented, and will never happen. If it did all you'll get are hundreds of RMT bot miners eating all the belts within 20m of downtime and people would simply complain about other things.

A better vote would be to encourage them to delay deadlines if content wasn't fixed and ready for launch rather than release it in beta stage to the live server regardless of the severity of the bugs imo. Roll

Hahahahahahahahaha. You think you are going to tell CCP what to do with their game? Really? 1.0 and 0.9 should never, ever be turned in to no combat zones. If you cannot deal with that simple fact then gtfo. This is EVE kiddo, not Hello Kitty Online, the second you undock in this game you risk getting blown up. It's been that way since day one and it will remain that way until the day EVE goes offline for the last time.

You won't win this fight.

A couple reasons:

1. The lead developer, among who knows how many other people within CCP, are intent on wiping out high sec entirely.

2. Even if assuming point 1 was false, the vast, vast majority of the high sec players do not engage in forum warfare. They don't even read the forums. Some don't even know they exist. BUT, the null sec zealots are HIGHLY organized and motivated. That is why I call them zealots. Even if you managed to get CCP to agree to this, every member of the cfc (which number in the 10's of thousands) would be ORDERED to vote against this. And given the small percent of players who vote (look at the CSM results), this proposal would be overwhelming defeated.

I may not win the fight, but if you dont fight for something you wont get it for sure.

ProfessorGeekBro said it best yesterday, CONCORD, much like the Police, provide consequences, not protection. All I can add to that is people live in the city for a variety of reasons, one of those is a perceived sense of safety, whether its in numbers or better projection of law enforcement. However, people are murdered day in and day out. The police can't do much to stop it, they can only go after the perpetrator.

Also, women are often prime targets for the most heinous of crimes. While many irrational bleeding hearts clamor about the notion that women shouldn't be forced to change their habits to prevent these crimes, the smart ones take the necessary steps to make themselves less of a target to predators that obviously don't care about the laws of society.

So close...

I like your idea of surveys by players one(1) per account so many months old.

You clearly have no understanding of the underlying principles of Eve Online.
