Hahahahahahahahaha. You think you are going to tell CCP what to do with their game? Really? 1.0 and 0.9 should never, ever be turned in to no combat zones. If you cannot deal with that simple fact then gtfo. This is EVE kiddo, not Hello Kitty Online, the second you undock in this game you risk getting blown up. It's been that way since day one and it will remain that way until the day EVE goes offline for the last time.

Unrelated to this thread, but after seeing some more threads from someone we both know (wont mention names) I think your right on the troll verdict

It is actually the first time I have said it, as far as I am aware, but in this case I think it is justified.

This game was like this before you started playing it. I suggest you do some research on a game before you download it. There are no good reasons for anyone to complain about being ganked in high sec or trying to change areas of the game to no pvp. Eve is a ruthless game where people will take advantage of your mistakes.

+1 vote for totally safe areas of space......IF the players who enter that space can in NO WAY affect anything in the game. No missions, no mining, no trading, no haulers allowed to traverse the space, NOTHING but ships being able to warp around and sight-see.

Then you have my vote. If a players action can affect the game in any way, there should be some form of risk involved.

To the op....

I find the ballot misleading. You declare a confidence vote, yet do not define what specifically we are vote for confidence in. Does a vote of confidence mean Ccp is fine, eve is good, let it be, or does it mean confidence in your idea if 1.0 and .9 being safe?

Because of this ambiguity, I demand a recount followed by a revote.

NO

The nature of the whole problem is very different compared to last time (assuming you're referring to the fiasco that followed incarna). That time CCP focused too much on one aspect of the game, neglecting the rest of the game for about two years so that almost no new content was introduced and existing problems weren't fixed.

This time the game (the sandbox) is working as intended and some poor people are having trouble accepting that. Changing any amount of highsec or any other sec into no-combat zones is a horrible, sandbox-breaking idea and it won't happen.

Are you saying something that happened in the last month, should change things so that 1.0 & 0.9 systems should be totally safe ????

Okay lets hear why those 2 security levels should be 100 % safe ?

You do realize if CCP ever makes any system 100% safe they will most likely remove any reason to go there.

I agree, you can have your completely 100% safe systems. Only thing is once you leave you can never go back. How's that?

This is what will happen-

1) CCP will open vote.
2) People that actually actively play the game will, for the majority, disagree with you.
3) People that agree with you will never vote because they have no brain cells to vote with.
4) People will then whine when the vote is closed that they didn't get an opportunity to vote and that the vote was illegitimate.
5) Iceland will invade Canada.

Makes sense, just like the starter NPC corps only without the vast number of capship pilots and uberpros. Roll
