Perhaps he have been bullied himself...or still being bullied. Anyhow, issues issues...

Being drunk on stage saying something like that is a characteristic of immature child.
He probably sees himself as some great guy who accomplished something for being CSM and CEO of the alliance...but the way I see it he is just another noob with not much of a real life.

As far as I'm concerned, Mittens deserved an apology from the guy, not the other way around : you don't go around and try to make people feel guilty for random internet spaceship stuff.
The only thing that might have been needed after the presentation would have been for ccp to change the dude's nick and that's about it really.

If ccp doesn't want that kind of stuff to happen they should shut down eve and not host drinking games on stage.

By calling what The Mittani did 'cyber-bullying' you are trivializing all the victims of real, harmful cyber-bullying out there.

i'm not saying what The Mittani did was in good taste, it simply pales in comparison to the real level of unescapable online bullying thousands of children and adolescents face everyday.

Then you know full well that your considerable volume of amusing quips, insults, and yes even erotica are only amusing if taken in proper context of the conversation taking place. Usually you don't slap the blinders on like that and try to at least exhibit some willingness to understand the context behind what someone is saying, even with they disagree with you. The only problem I see with The Mittanni retaining any form of post on the CSM is that it took the viral responses of thousands of eve players to make him aware of his actions as he apparently saw nothing wrong with what he had done well before fanfest/bragging about said actions. I think CCP needs to take this into consideration. I think Mittani should resign entirely from the CSM as this is not representative of the great players of this game.

There's no sense in fretting about the TOS, if CCP wants to permaban him, or anyone and everyone else, they can - and they will.

CCP holds all of the cards, they own all the property, they allow us to make use of 1's and 0's on their server as an entertainment service.

They can hardly do things like what they did with HB and then give Mittens less for something worse.

Frankly HB got a rough ride but it will cause a lot of uproar if Mittens gets less for doing worse things.
