Small word to many ppl posting in this thread, and that includes all sides of the argument;

Alex/The Mittani/Mittens dropped character in his post, the first one, many of you didn't and it's doing a whole lot more harm than good to all parties involved, including yourselves.

I didn't know who this guy was until fanfest. Sure, getting drunk and spouting off like this was inappropriate behavior. He has apologized for it and if he curbs his behavior in the future, done deal. There is no need for him to resign or do anything else that would satisfy certain people's lust for blood.

I am seeing a whole bunch of people on these forums who should be ashamed of themselves. I am very shocked to be reading people actually calling for lawyers and law enforcement to get involved. If you call his behavior wrong, how can you justify trying to ruin this person's life over such a trivial matter? It is trivial.

It is obvious to me that most of you wait for any opportunity to do harm to this guy in real life. All because of this video game.

Please notice, my point was not defend him, I expressed my opinion about this issue long ago, I won't repeat myself, and I imagine that it was never refuted by anyone on his side either because the IQ levels weren't high enough to do so, or because it's actually irrefutable.

The point of my observation is, many die hard zealots (there are in both sides) happen to post things that I honestly as a human being sharing a world with them scares the hell out of me, thus I rather think they are still in character in this game playing a ruthless brainless zealot than to see them as actual human beings living in a community, therefore my remark that those posts aren't really helping Alex/The Mittani/Mittens nor CCP, in fact it's the other way around.

You know, here is the thing. Sure, goons push the very extents of the envelope beyond the black lines in to undetermined grey space. At least they do what is expected, if you expect anything different like they are suddenly coming to Jesus or something, you deserve whatever forum level and in game embarrassment you get.

Where is all the upheaval about all the Band of Developers (oops, sry BoB) shadows that still exist and perpetuate certain mechanic exploits? See, that is beyond the black and grey lines and you fail to call those elements out in to the public forum. Hypocrisy always has blinders on. People cannot call out the real truth because it hits too close to home. Goons have neither won or lost here, they are playing their game, that is it. All the tears and agony are right up their game play methods and you fell right in to it.

I would suggest that all the cry baby wanna be, do gooder white knight, increase CCP Gov'ment rules regulation, tree hugging, environmentalist, commy bass turd, low life, social game reject, suck asses go find a different game to play that only has pretty jeweled NPCs in it, cause playing a MMO that has combat interaction is obviously too much for you, not to mention and meta game attributes.

You'll find it in the mind of the delusional... If you look into their eyes closely enough, you can almost see the circus.
