Court is always exciting.

Here is a chat log with your CEO admitting that you are allied with VMG. He's a cool dude and I respect him, but it doesn't change the fact that your organization which depends on trust is supporting allies who are the exact opposite of trustworthy. You have a chance to distance yourselves, but I suspect that will never happen.

Sigh.

Admission of obviously doctored chat logs into evidence?

This doesn't look well. I formally request the indictment of this heinous minion of Nitshe.

Distancing themselves from VMG would be an objectively bad idea. The alternative to being at least non-aggressive with VMG is basically perpetual war with VMG, which is bad for business for both them and VMG.

The optimal condition for making profit is for all the dedicated mercs to be mutually blue.

There is nothing within the wall of text indicating we sided with VMG. We have a contract and we will honor our contract.
Just because from what it looks like what happened was an administration error on VMG's part doesnt mean to say the Devils have
Anything to do with what is happening to you.
What it does look like is you flaming VMG then trying to use us to get more contracts by trying to get us to post shite about them.but you didnt check your facts and realised were at war with you too.

So to be honest and I am being honest, your barking up the wrong tree and fing in the wrong persons party.

Have it ever crossed your mind that this might be a contract for us? And if we distance us we break said contract...
Are you really asking us to **** over a client just because you had a bad experience with another merc entity?

The Devil's Warrior mercs are and old and esteemed organisation, and as far I can discern, trustworthy.

As with any mercs, if they are paid for a contract, they may end up working with other long standings red-then-neutral-then-red-etc (for example, PIRAT) other mercs. They don't need to like them or be blue to work on a common goal. Temporary Blue status is a thing, until a job is done.

As Hisec mercenary state stands now, the VMG/Public Enemy/PIRAT/Wrecking Machine/ISH-STARS coalition makes any involvement in Citadel takedown off-limits if they are against it. The opposition they had with the ATYPE-P.45-Clown Shoe Crew coalition disapeared after ATYPE active player base left or stopped playing.

It should also be noted that the only time what I will call the 'VMG Coalition' couldn't succeed in taking down a Citadel is when Nulsec or Lowsec entities like PL or MC came in Hisec, stamped their foot down and said NO, as they couldn't/wouldn't compete with their numbers (and their alpha doctrine threeshold).

That being said, like it was stated earlier, trust cannot be bought, and this drama will probably reduce VMG income, as some clients may reconsider that trust.

If I may make an observation: If (obviously) a defense contract cannot be trusted, as mercs seems wont to be bought off by higher bidders, then all defense contracts become suspect, considering that clients would just have to outbid each other to see changes of allegiance. Then what is the point of paying enormous monthly protection fee? Just contact a merc when you get a dec, and save ISK.

Fair enough. To be completely honest though, I think that VMG has given you all a worse reputation. Who knows, maybe you will be able to spin it to your advantage!

VMG hasn't mentioned Devils in any posts, you brought Devils into this by implying they were in cahoots with VMG in your sad attempts to leak tears all over the forums & reddit.

You may have cost Devils potential contracts through your poor judgement and slander towards their reputation, as their honour means everything.

Nah. Devils' rep is rock-solid. One cry-baby spilling enough tears to fill Lake Baikal isn't going to change that.

IChooseYou,

after careful reading of the chat log posted, my interpretation of the conversation is as follows:

1. You contacted the DWA without realizing their organization was at war with you. This is your error.

2. Lord Razpataz talked with you, knowing full well DWA was at war with you. In addition, he listened to your words, asked some pertinent questions, and avoided answering questions put to him that may have given you an advantage in the conversation.

3. Lord Razpataz did, indeed, have some fun at your expense. (Most people would in this circumstance. Seriously, trying to hire mercs who are at war with you, when you are obviously oblivious to that fact, is funny.)

But,

4. While you may have drawn the conclusion the DWA is in cahoots with VMG from this conversation, an objective reading of the chat does not support your conclusion.

To sum up, the "evidence" you've supplied, i.e. the chat log? Is insufficient in and of itself to support your contention DWA and VMA are acting in concert.

Without further "proof", you've libeled DWA.

In the absence of Judge Noragen, I call on the Inquisitor Leto Thule to hear this case.

All rise for his entrance. Evidence submissions by both parties are above supplied.

We are here to seek whether DWA did, in fact, commit the crimes in question or whether they were damaged by false accusations.

Actions, upon a guilty verdict, will be in accordance with Leto's honorable judgement and established precedence within the court.

In my opinion your attempt at pitching one merc against another smacks of desperation and something Jane Galt or one of his alts would do!
You need to rethink your strategy here as you may find it all blowing up in your face.

Thank you Mo. I'll agree to hear the case in light of the judge being absent. I'll also take this time to vouch for Mobadder's third party services.

To the point, the Inquisition holds DWA in the highest regards. They are free of Nitshe alts, and I have flown with several devils on occasions past.

Ichooseyou, since the burden of proof is on you, do you have anything relevant to say before the Inquisition delivers justice to your Corp .... Er... I mean carefully weighs the evidence?
