That seems like an issue we may have introduced. If you have the time, please do file a bug report on it, preferably from inside the client (F12)

We have an active defect to put in a toggle for the directional scanner visual display, but for now you can disable it by closing d-scan when you're probing.

Move box not coming up is a known issue, not reproducible for 100% of cases, but will get fixed very soon.

Beta map is currently non-functional when docked in station. The old map works fine though, and the beta map works if you are undocked. Another known issue, sorry, and one that will be fixed.

Probe scanner comments.

Like the filtering tab.


New probe scanner window doesn't sort or indicate distance correctly. For example, If I warp into a combat anom, resort by distance, it still shows me many AU (pre-warp position) from the anom.


Anom green underlining is hard on the eyes and mask the now dim green background. The previous brighter green background was much clearer than the new one.

1) I have the same "failing to Jump" issue as a previous poster... Used the Jump command on a gate in the overview, warped tot he gate but failed to jump. Occurs about 20% of the time. I am being careful not to mis-click.

2) Training Queue: VERY slow generally. Can take up to 10 seconds to load. UI elements often draw slowly. Minimizing and expanding a skill category can take about 5 seconds. Same goes for the categories in the Character Sheet (even slower). Took closing and re-opening to update times after plugging in an implant.

everytime i press analyze on the probe window it scrolls up to the top of the list of scan results. Kind of annoying in a system with lots of sigs like thera were i have to scroll down each time and select the sig i want again to only show that red dot on the map.

The probe scanner window distance updates on scan, not like the overview with your current position.

The issues are roughly the same I posted in that other thread in WH forum:


  • ALT probe repositioning (without range changing) has been moved to CTRL, and ALT took the reposition+rerange role (previously we had to grab spheres' borders). Why not just leave original function at ALT (that everyone is used to) and use CTRL for reposition+rerange ?
  • ALT/CTRL/SHIFT are treated as system wide shortcuts. Literally if EvE is in background but still visible (windowed mode, fixed windowed on another monitor), probe+dscan map does react visually (cones, arrows) to those keys regardless of what application has focus. Same obviously applies in EvE - when we have new probe+dscan window docked/floating but out of focus. It's distracting as hell.
  • Some people (not me, I prefer new approach) will certainly prefer to be able to resize+rerange probes by grabbing spheres' borders. Please add an option to enable / disable that functionality for them (from their PoV it's hell of a regression)

Yes in the old system i could sort by sig ID and scroll down that list and have it stay scrolled down while i probed.

Not dodging your Alt/Ctrl question, just don't have an answer for you right now.

We put resize by grabbing spheres back in - you can do that again. Personally speaking I find the Mousewheel and mappable keyboard shortcuts far preferable now though.

D-scan toggle has been raised as a defect now :)

Dscan cone will change vector based on your in-space camera, not your map camera.

Thanks that works....though might be a bit confusing since old probe scan window reset anom/sig ranges automatically when resorting and probe and directional scan (where the scan button is) are often separated for most players.

From my experience the probe scanner is always selected as active upon any session change when you have both probes and d-scan in the same window. This is not new, however, please do make a fix so that the selected window doesn't jump to probe scanner 100% of the time. This would be awesome!

Also, the d-scan in map is just so great. Thank you very much.

I have an issue with the skill training.
I am currently training Heavy Drones V, and before DT the remaining time for the said skill was at 9 day and a few hours.
When I logged in after DT, in my character screen it's all fine, showing 9 days, but when I'm in the game, it lists my skill at 15 days from completion. I know the skill training has been rewrote or something, but did you also decide to reverse the skill points we got before DT?
