I opened dotlan jump planner.
I took a naglfar with JDC0 which makes it 5LY.
I planned a route from empire space to 4GQ.
I closed dotlan jump planner.

Please say that whoever though out this bright plan has never ever even read about EVE online on wikipedia. I refuse to believe any sane person who ever seen EVE could suggest this.

This change will benefit (or hurt less) big rich groups that can afford capital caches, secondary capital pilot characters, long cyno chains and control of midpoints in SOV space. And hurt small groups living in faraway regions.

Congrats for having the balls to do this CCP.

I really hope this gives people a chance in nullsec and mixes things up without having a massive 'cap fleet' boot of the big boys.

Really excited about the future of nullsec!

As Opposed to having fleets of 1000 subs caps but now with no way to counter them.. good luck with that

Was CCP's intent to kill nullsec? Because kudos if it was. Shittiest batch of changes in quite awhile.

Have you considered the rather long distances between regions? I haven't actually checked the numbers, but I can imagine some regions being nigh impossible to assault, just because no capital ships can actually jump far enough to reach them, or can only reach one or two systems.

As they can use gates then, they still can reach every system. But it maybe reasonable/necessary now to use the regional gates for travel between the regions to reduce fatigue and fuel-costs.

Finally a reason to quit the game.

Elite is going to be the new king of space games as ccp loses its crown,

Love the idea of roaming gangs with integral cap ship support being a thing.

Apart from that, I'm struggling to find positives.
While essentially making fleets of cap ships use gates to travel any distance quickly sounds like it's adding content & promoting gudfites, all it will do is allow small gangs of dictors to ensure cap ship fleets (with their miniscule speed to escape bubbles) move so slowly to destination that there's no point.

Every time you use any jump drive, jump bridge or jump portal (hereafter all treated as "a jump"; note that this does NOT include stargate travel!), you will accumulate jump fatigue. If your fatigue is below 1 before a jump, your fatigue will be 1 + (light years travelled) after the jump. For subsequent jumps, the fatigue is multiplied after each jump by 1 + (light years travelled). This stays on the character as mentioned earlier, and decays at a rate of 0.1 per minute.

After a jump is complete but before your fatigue is increased, you gain a jump cooldown timer. The length of this timer is a number of minutes equal to your jump fatigue (before being increased by that jump!), and you are unable to make another jump of any kind until this timer expires. Note importantly that, because fatigue decays at a slower rate than a cooldown timer, you will retain fatigue for a length of time after your cooldown timer expires. (See Appendix A for examples.)

I like jump cooldowns. But this is much more complicated than it needs to be. Like, Matrix Reloaded levels.

Simple is better, think of the new players.

Please reconsider this, or at least walk it back a little bit. This change really hurts the accessibility of Nullsec corporations for new/inexperienced players.

Actually, it'll open up vast swathes of null for new/inexperienced players to explore, once the current sov holders get done rage quitting over these changes.*

*Actual number of current sov holders that rage quit over this is vastly exaggerated by bluster and unsubcribe threats; most of these people are not actually going anywhere.

Rip eve , every one welcome to 2007. no more quick response fleets no more cap fights every one is gonna sit in its little space corner and take gates all around cos ccp solution to solve bad Hardware is to nerf a game to 2007, as a player am really sad i need to pay money for this game sad its nothing else even similar on a market . Sad to see such a terrible solution you apply to a game i hope you gonna put last nail in a coffin witch nearly happened whit incarnia.

With their bonuses to Jump fatigue it can only be a matter of time till we see hot drop fleets switching to Battle Rorquals.
