Mint 16
GTX 570
wine 1.7.11 compiled from source.

I generally multibox 6 clients and the character screen is flickering through all the avatars of every account. I have a single central eve install but ln to it for the other 5 accounts so that they each get a seperate cache.

can you paste your D3D settings from your "user.reg" file in your wine directory? Something like this:

[Software\\Wine\\Direct3D] 1391517517
"DirectDrawRenderer"="opengl"
"OffscreenRenderingMode"="fbo"
"PixelShaderMode"="enabled"
"VertexShaderMode"="hardware"

thx

Could you tell the exact driver version please? I get it with
grep -i "x driver" /var/log/Xorg.0.log
in Ubuntu, but not sure if its the same in Mint...

I have the same problem with flickering/missing UI elements since today's EVE patch. It worked fine before DT.
Ubuntu 13.10 with custom linux-3.12.6-avx2 kernel, Intel HD 4600 GFX, Wine 1.6.1.

One other factor that might have an impact:

I'm using TwinView and I have the flicker problem.

Flickering with incomplete or missing 2D graphics under wine - textures are randomly being drawn on the wrong 2D surfaces with character selection screen, NeoCom and pop-up menus.

I really don’t think it's driver or OS/Desktop related directly as the test server works fine and Id bet works fine on everyone else no matter what there set-up is.

I believe the problem lies between EVE and wine (where EVE has broken directx etc)
