Added myself (new), an alt (new), and another alt (previously registered) with the new Custom API Key (CAK). All are working fine Big smile

Adding my own character took some time (at least 5-10 minutes) but eventually appeared. The other characters were instant. I don't consider there to be a problem here, but rather patience is a virtue.

have done this a few times and i still get the same msg..

Automatic API Update disabled, Reason: Authentication failure.

any help to sort this out would be great...

On the Log In / Sign Up page i enter my ID and vCode like it asks, and i get this...

No account was found with the details provided

Do you want to add a new account using the supplied information?

So i click the register button as prompted then i get this..

Error encountered
No additional characters could be added for supplied API information.

Im not exactly sure what im doing wrong here.

not sure if anything changed or if im just doin it right now, but it works for me now

did API for all chars the other day all was good til now got a message top of skill sheet that says


Can not load XML: Invalid at the top level of the document.

redid 1 char now says top of skill sheet

CCP is having issues with the API - that is most likely what is causing the errors.

just adding to the todo list again in case it's not there already:
- compare pilots mechanic: by rank

Essentially instead of comparing skill levels you compare the characters by rank in each of the ranked categories

I have tried multiple api's and characters however the only message i get is
Error encountered
Error occured trying to fetch API, Message: Key has expired. Contact key owner for access renewal.

Sounds like you are using the old limited API key, you must use the new custom key, try creating one with the pre-defined link in the first post.

Has something been changed in the way rankings are calculated?

This morning my main was ranked around 2800+ and now he's about 1000 places up.

Just curious why this happened.
