Well, since we know for a fact he's a role player and we also know for a fact he was drinking heavily, you have pretty much shot yourself in the foot there.

There is a picture of him LARPing a few pages back. It's a known fact he's into RPing. He's just not a flaming space knight most of you picture when you think of RPing in Eve.

Lets apply Occam's Razor shall we?

A: We have photographic evidence of him not only role playing, but in full LARP mode. His interest in it is a running joke among thousands of players. He enjoys role playing a great deal.

B: We have a one time photo of him wearing what is probably an expensive set of custom fit armor alongside what is possibly his wife (also in full costume). It is undoubtably the only time he has done this and the embarrassment has forced him to hate RP with a passion.

Fairness means equal punishment for an equal transgression.


The bigger issue to the event, wasn't a single mail, or the grief, so much, but more of an insiting for people to harass somebody else in response to the suicide mail that he presented. The instigation is the bigger thing. So the precidence is for punishment of people who harass or promote harassment of another in game based solely on a request not to harass when the person did what they could to the extent of game mechanics to avoid it. My two bits anyways.

I am NOT a goon alt. Nor would I ever want to be. Goonswarm is a group of pure evil and vile intent. You cannot have light without the dark though. Also, it gives us something to b**** about on the forums ^_~
