Seeing as he'd just heard the bad news that all his powerbloc's moon goo faucets were getting turned off and in the future goonswarm federation is doomed either to a) obscurity or b) becoming the biggest mining alliance in eve. I feel the poor chap can be allowed a few moments of (albeit televised) drowning sorrows to wallow in the ironic straits he'd found himself. The "king of space" had gotten roped into reporting to the findings of the people's revolutionary committe and needing to put a massive spin on last years hisec ice interdictors all needing to train barges on their 2nd accounts and become targets for roving gangs in nullsec.

You have to laugh.

Dear mittani ass kisser fixed it for you

+1 to OP - The worse thing to happen to eve is mittani being chair of CSM. But now i cant take CSM seriously at all after that display from Mittani, I cant help laughing at him. He really is the biggest childish idiot swimming in his own self importance i have ever seen.. Oh well at least eve got alot more amusing..

You realize it wasn't just goons that voted for him, right? Six of those votes are from me, and I know a number of other people in -A-, cascade, nulli etc. that all voted for him.

Say what you like about goons, Mittani's attitude and massive douchebaggery in the face of armies of forum warrioring terribad care bears perfectly represent my views of Eve, and where I would like the game to go in the future.

You do realise the goons players can have other chars in -A- and every other alliance in eve?
I mean theres a problem in itself 6 VOTES ARE FROM YOURSELF. I mean seriously you are allowed to have 6 votes? do you not even see a problem with that?

The presentation could have been a lot funnier.
The reactions on the forums afterwards couldn't.

Posting to confirm that everyone I know in every alliance I've ever been in is a goon spy.

since 16% of the population voted, perhaps if you feel incensed you should, you know, vote next time and get your corp to vote, or even, you know, stand as a candidate.

Why is anyone seriously surprised that the noisiest alliance (dunno if they are biggest) got their guy on there with the most votes. If you don't like it stand next time and get more votes than the winner, that's how elections work.

As for anything that anyone said, again, who is seriously surprised, if you are aggrieved to this extent by something said in a game forum I really think you should be outside more and be sending these letters to your MP/Congressman/Whatever about actual issues of import.

Oh my humble apologies for tarnishing your great reputation, Mittani the Great. I just hope that you think twice before asking thousands of other players to partake in an act to provoke a mentally unstable person to commit suicide.

Why would he care about his reputation among NPC corp alts?

Obvious for anyone with half a brain ( it is obvious now goons dont belong to this group ) that behind alt hides real person/player that is smart enough to hide his in game identity to protect it self again the most powerful and at the same time emotionally immature person in EVE.

Over the years, I (Malcanis) have certainly pissed off any number of people on these forums. Never once, not one single time can I ever recall anyone targetting me because of it.

And if they did, I'd laugh at them like the butthurt little babbies they were, and carry right on saying what I thought was right. If they kept on doing it, I'd supertank my ships and laugh even more as the rest of my alliance used the opportunity to reap easy kills.

People who hide behind NPC alts to posts do it because they know they're making terrible posts, and they're ashamed to stand behind what they say. Man up and say your name.

Future investors in CCP will disagree.

Anyway guys, just quit EVE. In the last year we've had the gold ammo scandal, introduction of MT, monocle-gate, and now the blatant corruption that exists between CCP and the CSM.

All moons really baby. But tbh, I don't care who promotes it just as long as it gets done. Nuking that crap and turning it into a profession where real players sit in belts and take a genuine risk to make the income (while providing targets to roaming gangs) is the best change out of ccp in literally years. My paragraph above can be seen as satire if you like - as long as this still happens I'm cool with it.

I will mention that when this was suggested during CSM1 (by me and others) the then Goonswarm leader Darius Johnson went red in the face and blustered for about 20 minutes about how it would be the doom of eve and the sky would fall and it was completely insane to consider damaging the stablity (passive income aristocracy) of eve in this way.

So if Mittens genuinely is different to Darius in this way then good on him and maybe he was drinking from happiness afterall. I look forward to seeing him in his barge mining tech in nullsec and getting owned by 3 guys in bombers.

Ya, Darius Johnson works at CCP now FYI. Same for Stoffer which he was Euro Goons. But you're talking about CSM1 which was almost 6 YEARS ago which is irrelevant to today's current state of the game. And we're not going to be mining nor are we depending on tech moons now to provide our isk faucet. We can thank PI and our dedicated ratters for bringing in most of the taxes per month. Unlike Team Tech which they depend badly on tech moons to supply most of their isks (see Tenal, no ratters there or significant activities but all tech moons)

The EULA refers to actions you can take whilst using the software product: Eve Online.

Mittens was having a sit down with friends and interested strangers.

Well either which way its a good change and if you guys are on board with it excellent. Hopefully means we'll see the proposal fly through development with nobody stamping their feet and huffing and puffing on the csm - if it turns out I'm mistaken in believing some delegates will oppose it then I'll be very happy indeed to be proven wrong.

For crying out loud. If you really want to put pressure on CCP, then encourage 3rd party news/games sites need to pick up the 'controversy'. If you're in the US, then you can try writing your senator/congressman and see if you can't piggy back on the anti-online-bullying story. Contacting a cyber-bulling organization such as http://www.stopcyberbullying.org might work as well.

The only way you're going to get CCP to act on the supposed cyberbullying is to bully CCP into acting with the threat of bad PR.

Take the notice... People like The Mittani don't have any moral value and will stab you in the back if he will have any opportunity (in real live too) and goons are just perfect example proving finding of Milgram experiment are 100% valid.
