unrar and u will have " EVE_Online_351477-352940.patch " , then open the epic fail launcher , settings / patches / import patch and chose that file and will work !

Except for people who have borked launchers that say they can't run in a 32-bit or 64-bit system (per screenshot I provided days ago).

Due to this I can't run the launcher to manually patch with the files you guys shared.

I'm still encountering difficulties while re-installing the game, it always reports "an unkown error occurred while downloading
the installer payload" please fix this problem.

PS: I've tried downloading the packages from the website, package 1 always pauses at about 2.3 GB and doesnt move from
there, please give suggestions.

PSS: I love your game but these issues have to be dealt with, maby I'm the only one having them, In that case please offer
suggestions on what I should do.

I was having problems exactly like this, one piece of advice, do NOT try and reinstall the game, you'll have trouble installing it again.

I prefer to have them disabled.

That aside, yesterday's launcher failed (patch 352940). Repair failed. I'm suspecting your whole patch delivery content method is susceptible to slow internet/congestion, its timing out. This isn't the first time it happened. I'll try another time, but you seriously need to improve the ROBUSTNESS for the downloads - and it's not a new matter as well, I've been saying it since day one when the repair tool was introduced.

To set the perspective, I've been running BitTorrent for years - NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE with corruption or broken downloads.
That tells you something about the basic core transfer method doesn't it?

may i sugest u downloading the game using flashget ? had same issues as u and fixed it with that program ( http://www.flashget.com/en/download.htm ) , install the game , after that delete the launcher folder and then run the repair tool ,

One day left on first account to go down.. warning for the next came in at 10 days today...

CCP still has sent no reply to my petition which had all the nice logs and everything they asked for.

now well over a week.

whoever said, ''hey i have an idea, lets put a launcher in the game!'' should be shot in the knee caps, then dragged for a mile ,, then have his intestines removed through a little slit in his belly, after this be slapped once in the face and once in the balls by every eve player, following this be drawn and quarterd and 1 piece sent to each section of eve space.

Another day, another Patch and still no sound from Jumpgates and stations Ambiente is missing there completely also Sound from NPC Navy and Concord ships still missing as well.

Wondering if Devs still reading this thread. X

They are to busy to ruin their own game. First the customizeable NeoCrapcom with the not deletable chat icon what is absolute not customizable, after that the messed up overview with no USEABLE sortings and this sh!t mouseOverlock. And to top all of those crap they have launched a launcher, that doesnt launch the game. Shocked

CCP had their response from the testserver.. they had all informations, that this launcher is crap and needs more work.. But NOOOOOOO.. we are CCP.. we have a timeline but no time for QA. So lets start this crap and wait what happens. Evil

What was the outcome of your questionaire concerning the overhauled overview? Can we have a feedback to our feedback? Or is it just to horrible, that CCP is not able to swank with these results?

You are unable to do things right. It seems, that I can delete this char and sh!t on CCP!

I really hope that your DUST sh!t dies within the first months. So you will be ruined as corporation or have more resources for quality assurance. Twisted For me it is now irrelevant, which of both scenarios will come true.

It is now today the 5 or 6 time that i have to reinstall the whole game by downloading manually the files.
The launcher does not even get installed . the only way to start the game after new installation is through the Bin-File by bypassing the launcher, but still after a new patch which does not solve the issue with the launcher you have to do a new installation. I´m not an computer expert, so many of the ideas i read in the forum, i do not know what the people are talking about. We ( i guess a lot more people than me facing the same problem) need a fix of the problem where we not have to go through firewall, antivirus or router manipulation, cause our system is running with all other programms without any problems and we don´t want to compromise our safty protection. I think CCP should really go back to the old Launcher, and do some more testing on the new one.
It is very frustrating wright now and kills the joy we had so far with the game

Well CCP, you got to be alert about this!!! Every since you implement the new launchers, I have been downloading the full client. I have done it five times. Today, the launchers is going looping at 1/3 at around 25% NON-STOP.

** I DO NOT HAVE ANY ANTI-VIRUS. NO E-SET, NO Norton, NO nothing!! Clean!
** IT IS A CLEAN WINDOWS 7 64-bit OS
** My regional settings is set to English (United States)
** I have check the system running process and it is very clean and normal without any extra-ordinary processes.
** My router is CISCO LINKSYS E42000

I DON'T THINK YOUR NEW LAUNCHERS UPDATE IS PERFECTED YET!!
In the past it came out with horror number of errors and exception errors but today's patches was fine till the endless looping launchers update @ 25%

If you have any clue to fix this, please get it fixed.

The good news is somehow or other it happened to download without error the the looping stops and continued patches well after waiting for about 1/2 hr.

Well - this is the 3d time for me that the patching failed.

If it was only me that would be acceptable, but it's been happening to everyone in my RL vicinity, on almost every patch for all of us.
Most of them have now unsubbed and I have lost even more of my online buddies, I'm now unsubbing myself (3 accounts). This will bring the unsub total of just people I personally know to over 10 accounts. 4 years and this is how it ends - pure and simple bad quality assurance.

Cheers All, hope to see you in a few months it nothing else can hold my interest - EVE is still a great game - not sure what it will be when/if I come back.

Since I updated I can not launch Eve, the new start works, but when I launch it simply quits. I am Running a MacPro, 10.7.

I tried downloading a fresh copy from EVE and that did not work. I noticed the file I downloaded had to be "Patched" first. But the end result is the same "Eve" does not run.

One or two patches already worked with EveMon running in the background from C:\Games\EveMon while patching C:\Games\Eve, but now the old problem has reappeared: patch refuses to continue unless I shutdown EveMon. Apart from this, the whole patching process works perfectly here (Win 7 64 bit).

Will you maybe give us a little warning before you push out another patch so we can maybe prepare ourselves to have issues? It's like, I get my game running finally after MANUALLY patching and then boom you release another patch and your stupid launcher craps out yet again. Yes I've tried running as admin, yes I've tried rebooting to clear files that are open, yes I've turned off AVG (which I find utterly stupid, if I have turn off my antivirus so your game can install, that's an issue), and still no install, craps out as always at 14.4%. I've honestly spent more time trying to get eve running that I have played eve since 1.5 has been released and I find it unacceptable that we aren't getting any help other than more patches that continue to break people's computers.

Now that my rant is over, I'll upload another patch file in a few hours once I can get a hold of a corp mate to upload it for me since CCP is incapable of providing the file themselves so people can manually patch....

This issue seems to be only in v1.12 of the Launcher and this should be fixed in the next version.

As CCP seems to fail to act in good will and restore to the players the game time that was unrightfully taken from them, this petition shall proceed to the competent autorities that will take care of the litigation and hold CCP liable for its actions, namely the Iceland National Investigation Police Internet Fraud Department and the Interpol Internet Fraud Department.

With the best regards and hopes that CCP will show more consideration and respect towards its costumers in the future.
