I would subscribe to a cheaper electronic version.

That reminds me need to check and see if my annual subscription is up.
Have them all from day one.

Sadly though the first one is a reprint.
Then again can't be blamed for missing a game that had ZERO publicity.
Finding EVE was more a stumble across it then anything.

Just include codes in every issue for some unique vanity trinket. Subscriptions would quadruple overnight.

i can see the rage on forums already: 'Now you expect us to buy a magazine just to get a ring which you cant even see on the avatar picture. this is outrageous. yadayada'
probably not a good idea right now ;-)

Meh.

Micro(macro)transactions are here to stay. Look at the response early attempts to do this in other games had (vanity items in gaming magazines for EQ2 for example), and the response is huge, entire print runs sold before they hit the stands. Haters are gonna hate space Barbie, and in the end, it is just a vanity item...

I would buy it if it did not take them a month to get it to me, after the issue is already released. They should do a discounted soft copy. I would consider that too.

I've purchased an issue or two, and I'm very fond of it. High quality, great layout, good visuals for a paper magazine.
That being said the price is a bit steep and the information is a bit dated by the time I receive it...

1) Produce an electronic version (ePub / PDF). I would love to subscribe to it on my iPad/Laptop/Kindle/Whatever.

2) Print and ship local copies in the US and/or other countries. (All publishing control and rights still belong to MMM, nothing would change, just zip up the electronic layout file and email it to the a third party US printer. Heck, you could go global with regional versions if you contracted the right global publisher. Think of the cost saving on mailing overseas.)

(PS, If you offered a digital version AND a print version package I would pay the $50. I'd get to read my digital version as soon as it was available, and I'd get my collectible hard-copy in the mail a month later.)
