76 former slaves were rescued this morning as I returned from a mining trip. They were given accommodation in crew quarters for the trip back to the Matriculation Center. Feanor the Elder was there to welcome them when we arrived. In spite of criticism and accusation, we continue to treat these people as if they deserve to live and not be left to die in the cold of space. Some would object to this and have done so publicly. Let them. We will continue to do all we can to rescue people from death.

It is interesting that our latest detractor seems to be expressing a sort of Amarrian defensiveness. This makes no sense considering that most who appear on our wall of shame are not Amarrian. This makes no sense considering it is the hospitality of Amarrians that makes our Matriculation Centers possible. It makes no sense considering that only the Amarrians consider these rescued slaves to be no longer slaves. Ironic, isn't it?

21 former slaves entered our Matriculation program today after being rescued by a brave pilot of the Khanid Kingdom. We appreciate his willingness to take the time not only to help these former slaves but also to rescue 10 Marines, 160 Militants, 21 Slaves, 20 Tourists, 1 VIP who were also abandoned in space. There were also slave traders which he kept and will be returning to Amarr. We are taking care of the rest until they or authorities decide where they are to go. More on this in my regular log.

A short while ago, 50 former slaves were rescued and transported to Matriculation Center #3. We have no further news on the strange events of earlier today, but the staff at the center are interviewing those who were rescued to try and get a more complete picture of just what happened.

I just rescued 58 people left to die at the Caldari border. I am ashamed to say that one of my own race is to blame for the poor condition I found them in. They had less than an hour of air left, no water, no food or heat. Fortunately, all survived. I have a large number that I have rescued and am still trying to figure out how to safely and quickly get them out of Amarr space.

The wall of shame should now include:

Pilot: Miasana

Race: Jin-Mei

Corporation: Aurora Polaris

Alliance: The Babylon Consortium

The Disciples of Ston commend you for your brave actions. It is gratifying to see a growing group of pilots beginning to actively rescue slaves who have been abandoned in space.
Some options:
1. Our Matriculation Centers are in Amarr space where we can move freely without danger. We have secured corporate sponsorship and use of facilities as well as the help of Republic Security Services in maintaining our Centers in Amarr space. We have received rescued former slaves from other pilots from time to time if you are interested.
2. For those former slaves who request immediate transport out of Amarr Space, use of a covert ops frigate is quite effective. Our Cheetah, the "Elutheria" has room for 40 passengers. I have made 3 successful trips taking former slaves into Republic and Caldari space.
Gaufres, we stand by to assist in any way should you wish our help. Thanks Again.

Thank you Mr. Sadik. We appreciate you mentioning your program. It is good for pilots to have more than one option. There needs to be multiple programs that focus on freedom and reintegration into free society. I hope many will utilze your program as well as ours. This is especially important now that there are those who wish to rescue these individuals only to return them to slavery. We must all redouble our efforts for freedom.

The work goes on. 6 former slaves were just recently rescued. Thankfully, I arrived shortly after they were jettisoned, so their ordeal was shorter than many have had to endure. Back at the center, there was a warm welcome for them.

In another note, we have wanted to provide the highest level of self-determination for those we rescue. I have provided information to our Matriculants about the Electus Matari's Freedom Program and our willingness to transfer any Matriculants who wish to enroll in that program. I will be contacting the Electus Matari to make arrangments for any that wish to do that.

Always glad to see such philanthropic work. You are doing great things for the cluster, Disciples.

It was a very good day for our Matriculation Program. Our goal has been to offer as much self-determination as possible for those we rescue. The goal of matriculation is to help these former slaves become part of communities of their choice. Freedom of choice was exercised today by a group of ten residents of Center #3. When they heard of the Electus Matari Freedom Program, they wanted to be a part of it.

I contacted Mr. Sadik and we arranged transfer. I wish to commend those I worked with today for their professionalism and courteous manners. All went very well. I said goodbye to 10 very excited friends as they took their first steps in to choosing their own destinies.

The Elutheria performed very well and we passed without notice into Republic space where the transfer was made. Mr. Sadik and Mr. Ebbon were a pleasure to work with.

This is the kind of thing we have hoped for from the beginning of this program. Today was a good day.

I wish to take this time to congratulate Manwe on his work since taking over the primary administration of our matriculation work. Yesterday's even was good in the sense that it was self-determination in action for our ten friends that made their way "back home" to Republic space.

I'll try to get out soon to help with the rescue work.

We plead with all pilots, no matter what side of the slavery debate you are on, please do not transport any passengers, be they slaves, slavers, slaver hounds, or any living beings on to any secure can advertised as a depot in border areas.

These containers use Planck field generators that compress matter at a quantum level and will kill any living thing transported aboard them. Please, for mercy's sake do not transport anyone aboard these containers.

If you rescue people from space, please give them to the care of whomever you trust but do not kill them by transporting them aboard any Planck (secure) container.

There is a fascinating dynamic that we have observed in our rescue work. Several times now including today, we have rescued groups of Former slaves, Slavers (slave traders) and slaver hounds. Depending on how long the can has been in space and how close to death these groups are, there is an interesting psychology the emerges.

Former slaves are used to having death hanging over them; having the threat of harm in their faces daily. For many, though not all, this is their life experience. When in the jet can where death is around the corner, these small communities of former slaves encourage, comfort and strengthen one another.

Slavers too, change their tune. The Slave trader is used to having power over others. They are used to thinking of themselves as in control of their destiny and the destinies of others. Often times, these slavers bring along their brutally trained slaver hounds to guard what they consider a commodity to be bought and sold. As man and animal approach death, it is not the slaver that is obeyed by the slaver hounds, but the former slaves. Why is this so? Slaver hounds are trained to provoke fear and submit to power. They sense it. At these times, the all prideful slavers become meek, fearful, tearful and pathetic as death approaches. The former slaves gather themselves and face with integrity and dignity what they have had to face their whole lives. The slaver hounds do not need to be retrained, they instinctively find new masters in the power of these former slaves as they face death.

8 slavers found the tables turned today when the pilot they had contracted and paid, dumped them along with the illegal slave cargo of 60 former slaves and 7 slaver hounds to die in the cold of space. These slave traders soon discovered that "their place in life" was not so assured after all. They will soon be on their way to detention facilities in Korama. As we do not support the death penalty, even for slavers, they will be treated humanely until we receive assurances of non-capital forms of disposition are rendered.

This group of 60 slaves were brutally treated by their masters and by the slavers who were transporting them for sale elsewhere. In spite of their treatment, they entered Center #3 with heads held high as they were welcomed to freedom by Elder Gladius and the Elder council. Slavers were led away to temporary holding facilities with heads held low in shame. We do not euthanize slaver hounds. We find it unnecessary as they adapt to freedom just as humans adapt to freedom.

Center #3 passed the 2000 resident population with this rescue today.

For the past few days, I was happy to observe no people abandoned to die in the cold of space by the uncaring. Today I was saddened to find 140 people left to die. When rescued, they told me that Taletans crew were laughing as they welded the container shut. I used to find the horror stories I was told hard to believe, but the more I rescue, the more I learn just how poorly slaves are treated and how cruel some Pilots can be.

I do not understand how a Holder can have such disregard for something he considers property. He certainly does not show such disregard for the maintenance of the ship he travels around in. Also, slaves cost ISK. Do they have so much and are so callous that they do not care?

At the request of Lord Crases Kithrus I have taken it on myself to interview the members of the wall of shame under the pretences of advertising the safety of mission running in CVA space for greater reward. I then asked about mission running tactics in a kind general sort of way and where they found they were making money and on what dates.

After a few hours of going backwardss in the wall of shame most if not all over those present on it fell into one of four catigories.

1) did not reply, I assume they wanted either nothing to do with me or didn't have time.
2) did not run missions in the system Ston Momaki,Gaufres or Manwe Todako indicated.
3) did run missions or had cargo they could not take into the system and could have left people behind.
4) Horror of horrors some of the names didn't even exsist.

This ends my report. I'll allow the public to think as they will.

Most of the Pilots on the Wall of Shame published by the Disciples of Ston can be looked up in the character section of the "people and places tab in the neocom of your ship computer. Simply copy and past the name and click "search." Some are either incorrectly copied into our report or no longer listed as Capsuleer pilot in Concord's registry.

Edit: Below is a list of the names I have reported on the Wall of Shame. Underlined are those that I cannot find in Concord records anymore. In the future I will confirm my entries and spelling before publishing them on the wall. The Other Disciples are responsible for their own reporting and any non-disciples are also responsible for their own reporting.

13 former slaves obtained the dignity of freedom, 5 slave traders obtained the shame of capture, and 7 slaver hounds are now called "pets." And... the following pilot goes on the Wall of Shame. There should be a link associated with the pilot's name if I did this right.

This morning, I picked up 10 former slaves just as a massive Concord action was taking place. About a dozen ships were in the process of being destroyed by Concord just as I warped away from the gate. We made it back to the Center safely and were not fired upon by the outlaws involved.
