So the bully picked a fight with a clearly weaker opponent, and is now mightily upset because their opponent does not let themselves be slaughtered at their whim?

Cute.

Not at all. i picked a fight with someone who Used to be willing to die for his convictions, a THIEF who thought it was his right to bait those who he stole from.

Now, he hides from retribution.

Ergo, he is a coward.

as for 'mightily upset' you should really discern the true meaning of the phrase. I am merely calling him out on his actions.

It is always disturbing to see how the Amarrian slave masters have treated those they refer to as Elite slaves. These unfortunate ones have been physically brutalized and worked nearly to death. When no longer of any use to their slave holders, they are illegally shipped off to Caldari space to be sold as second hand chattel. Of all those we take in and care for, these are the most eager to find ways to help their brethren still in slavery to find freedom. They are also the most impatient to make their way out of Amarr space and into the republic, where they may join their free brethren there.

These 10 were rescued mid way through this patrol.

This will be reflected in policy regarding them.

Does this mean that Teraa Matar will stop accepting contributions from the Stonites?

Contributions? Of what?

Cold hard cash

This has been dealt with. No one within Teraa Matar will be accepting donations of isk from Ston or his followers.

Every life rescued is a life of significance worthy of recognition. Every pilot who dumps living human beings into space to die simply because they are an economic inconvenience is worthy to be maligned. 46 lives are here acknowledged as sacred, important and worthy of continuation as much as any capsuleer.

Having returned from other work, I have relieved Ston from patrol duties to give him a much deserved break. Eighty One lives were rescued from on death can and another 10 were rescued from what I believe was the remnants of a battle. These were Militants of some order or another. For now, they will be taken to a detention facility of DSTON.

44 Militants and 41 former slaves were rescued in the last 18 hours from two different systems. The militants I believe were part of maybe a battle that stretched a couple systems wide yesterday. One earlier group was also rescued. From pilot allegiances, it appears that the two groups of Militants were from the same side but different sovereignties. In addition a group of 41 former slaves were welcomed to freedom this morning.

There are still a few surprises left in the rescue business. 72 slavers were captured and 266 former slaves were liberated in the same operation. Never before have I encountered this many slavers dumped into space at one time. They will be brought to one of the DSTON centers when the temps center reaches capacity.

At the tail end of yesterday's patrols, the first rescue took place. The last two days have been strange in that most of the rescues involved slavers accompanying slaves in illegal attempts to cross into Caldari space. This morning's rescue is one of those mixed experiences. I am most glad for the 45 lives saved and most distressed that the perpetrator is of the tribes.

26 men, women and children were rescued today out of a death can discovered while on patrol. Since we began this work, the pro-slavery propaganda wizards of the Amarr Empire have tried to suggest that those we rescue on these operations are hardened criminals trying to escape the empire and justice due them there. Those we rescue are anything but hardened criminals. Many are slaves that have been so abused and worked so mercilessly, that they are no longer of use to their Amarrian masters and so sent for sale in the Caldari markets of Jita. Some are slaves destined for the human trafficking markets of the capsuleer wealth fueled systems of Caldari and Gallente space. So, the Amarrians slavers call these unfortunate ones hardened criminals and spread that word about. The big disappointment is that people who ought to know better, believe this propaganda.

Let me tell you who these rescued ones are: They are enslaved members mostly of the Minmatar tribes. They are men, women, boys, girls, moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, single people, orphans, the elderly, the sick, etc. Do we look into the background of those we rescue? Yes, of course, but first we treat their wounds, feed their empty stomachs and clothe their bodies with clean raiment. The criminals are not these rescued slaves, but those who enslaved them and those who dumped them into space to die.

I do expect to be accused of harboring criminals, in fact we do. They are called slavers, and sometimes militants or terrorists. These are separated from the slaves that are rescued and are placed in the DSTON detention centers in Korama and Egbinger. If being kept from capital punishment or generational slavery is considered harboring, then they are harbored.

Todako i have had dealings with Ston and the Disciples, handing over slaves and homeless people to your organisation.
I would like to take these slavers off your hands. I will be travelling to the Armarr Empire and can return these people back to there homeland.

If you are happy to hand over some of the slavers you are holding let me know. I have dealt with Ston in the past and am happy to deal with him in exchange when ever you are passing through the Niyabainen Solar System, if you are happy to hand over any of the slavers.

Small question; Are you folks planning to consolodate the running tally on your "Wall of shame" into something a little easier to reference?

I understand that there will be a goodly number of Capsuleers out on patrol for contraband/slaves in transit and it might be a good idea to have a list of offenders to hand so that they may be scrutinised more closely.

I am back to relieve Manwe from patrol for a while. Early on this morning, there were two death cans discovered. 35 human lives were saved and 8 hounds rescued. As for consolidating the wall of shame, that would involve going back and compiling many pages of entries. Ugh, time consuming. If someone wants to do that, please feel free.

All questions about DSTON policy regarding the disposition of all rescued people now goes through the new CEO. Contact him personally as he doesn't read the IGS.

Ston, I am glad you reeled back your communications to this thread, rather than trying to fill IGS space with your posts. I was hoping you would not be removed from comms altogether; your posts are, after all, a reminder that some of us remain human.

When arriving from station on patrol, a death can was immediately discovered. 59 people were on board. They were low on oxygen and were cold. They were beginning to become sick from radiation exposure. They thought death was near. Medical staff is treating them now and they will pull through.

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit an ordinary ship with a transneural burning scanner configured for a non-pod cockpit? The isolation of the pod is becoming unbearable to me. I wish to stand on a ship bridge with my crew. Perhaps it is just time to think about being a simple mortal.

It's not. The pod is the only way to ensure transmission of the infomorph upon destruction of the ship.

Two rescues were conducted during this morning's patrol. I total of 102 human lives were rescued as well as 7 hounds.
The second rescue was the typical scenario of 2 slave traders illegally transporting a group of slave out of Amarr space to be sold in the squalor of Jita. Since the fare was pre-paid, the pilot had no compunction to take the risk of being caught by customs. So, into space the who group is jettisoned.

The loss of conscience. The loss of human identity. Let not being a capsuleer do this to you as it has to the Brutor tribesman on the wall of shame below. Thankfully, those he abandoned to death are now safe.

My rescue crew was busy this morning with two rescues at the same general location. Quite often, we are targetted while on patrol. Seldom are we attacked, because we carry nothing of value that would justify the risk of Concord intervention. But, it is always a bit unnerving to hear the targeting warning sound in the middle of a rescue. 196 lives were rescued this morning. Each life, though only one of several billion slaves in this cluster, is important to DSTON. This is the heart of our work.
