It's a false positive.

The reason is, that in EVEMon we use an on the fly code compiler that downloads code from our repo, compile it to an EVE notification text parser to parse the result returned from the API. We done it this way, so we can update the parser on the fly and give you more parsed notification texts as soon as we figure out how they should be parsed.

Eve mon suddenly stopped working. When I start it, windows initates an error report process, and then evemon autocloses in the task manager before the interface pops up. Tried restarting, and even reinstalling.

When I try to dl from the battleclinic page, I get a secure connection failed error. Or I get a "could not be saved because the source file contains an error."

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

Just crashes after launch from yesterday.
Reinstall and delete evemon folder in AppData didn't help.

I am having the same issue as this. Even had a corpmate send me a copy of the launcher via Slack.

We both got this error, http://puu.sh/nGiMP/bfcc87eb21.png , when trying to run the installer.

You might want to double check your hosts.

Just dl EVEMon from BC and installed it locally. Everything checks out fine.
I have no idea why you guys have issues.
Check with your anti-virus. They usually cause problems due to false positive detection.

P.S. In the OP is a direct dl link to get EVEMon from the repo. Try that.

I found a solution.
This problem occurs because the antivirus. (I am using Avast).
You must disable anti-virus, download the package, install it, and then turn on the antivirus.

Sorry for my English. I used Google Translator. I hope everything will be clear.

Or add an exception to the anti-virus for EVEMon (damn those anti-virus software).

Seem's to be an Avast issue, all I did was pause protection and Evemon started right up.

I have no idea how to use Avast, I only recently switched to it and it is the most user unfriendly interface I have ever seen x(
I'll keep poking at it.

According to EVE it will take me 33 days and 6 hours to get my Thanatos, but according to evemon it's only 29 days and 1 hour. Not sure what's going on there? My implants etc all match up.

I just noticed a similar thing. It seems there's a bug in EVE with calculating the training time for skills that aren't injected.

Evemon calculated my Wholesale to 13d 10h but ingame it became 16d 11h.
Any idea why this occurs?

Edit: Wierd, it adjusted itself after I moved a few skills around and pressed apply on the skill queue.
