First come first serve.
Looting in combat is frowned upon unless you need ammo or a drone.


Excellent corp. I waited some time to join to be more to effective at PvP, but realize now I should not have waited.

Awesome people, and everyone is be it blue or red, nice pvp learning or get the little plus from an older player that might make the whole difference in fights.

Question: how do you make ISK while you're in RvB? I've been buying plex and the occasional ship for two accounts through running L4s in high sec, but I'm assuming that wouldn't be feasible if I joined either R or B...

Well if your skilled at making items of war, that can be a good business in RVB, as we all go through so much of it. But Mining is still going to be a major way to keep up financially.

You can do great on just frigates in the beginning, very affordable way to enjoy the action and rack up PVP experience.

Just joined up a few days ago and have to say that I had no idea what I was missing. The experience is invaluable, the camaraderie incomparable, and the fun blowing stuff up is some other "-able" word..

I just came back to Eve last weekend after being away from the game for about two and a half years (apart from a couple of very brief returns) and I have to say that Red vs Blue sounds very interesting to me. I never really got into pvp when I was playing before, but I've always been interested in it.

My question though is, what is the situation if you join Red or Blue but you want to do some solo mining or mission running? If you in Lonetrek doing some mining are you likely to jumped on if someone from the other side bumps into you? Or are rules to say that 1 on 1 combat has to be pre-arranged or anything like that? Or is it just a case of doing your PVE in another system?

Combat between RvB members is limited to the Lonetrek region. So if you are outside of Lonetrek you are safe from fellow RvB members. HOWEVER it is important to note that RvB often times is at war with third party entities that will come find you and kill you anywhere. So if you do go do something like that, pay attention to local. The other option is to drop RvB for a few days and come back. We are quick to accept applications and members are free to come and go as often as they like. :)

Thanks for the reply :) I was reading through some of the links that where posted earlier so I was aware of the that combat between RvB members limited to Lonetrek, but I thought I'd best check if there where any limits on when or where that could happen, and about the chance of having some evil little third party try to jump on you :)

I started a new character when I came back this time so I could run through the new player experience and get back up to speed a bit. I just need to decide which character I'm going to run with now is all. My main character had a decent mix of combat and industrial skills, so I'm trying to decide if I should just keep with money making purposes or do I make use of the fact I spent the time already training his combat skills. Decisions, decisions, decisions!
