Has to be active. Maybe you could submit a petition to get the account activated for 24 hours for the sole purpose of transferring a toon. I wouldn't count on it, but it'd be worth a shot

Hey there i want to know if i can sell a character that i already bought on the character forums

Could Someone please explain the following?

Rule 17 Whenever a character is transferred before the seller has moved the ISK received from the sale to another one of their characters, the Customer Support team will return that ISK to the rightful owner. The buyer cannot expect to receive both the character and the ISK that they paid to purchase it.

So am I right to say that I receive the isk and have to keep it on the char I am selling? I just don't wish to break any rules should I decide to sell my char.

actuly did want ask the CCP DEVS if this can be put into rules so that numnuts and new players don't get fooled by resellers

Have 2 short questions cos i cant see on ure thread starter :
1) how are private sales setups? like who is starting the thread and it will have to state the price and eveboard right?
2) can i pay from a diffrent char then the one its listed as buyer of the private sale ( want to remain anonimoulsy ) ?

Q: What happens if I do not receive the 9B from Allison?

I cant seem to find out whether or not bids are binding.

If i don't receive payment in 24 hours, am i entitled to submit a petition?

Can CCP actually force a bidder to honor their offer?

1) either party can start the "Private sale" thread but usually the seller will do it because he/she has to pay the transfer fee and states who, what , and why the sale is taking place, ie, "private sale"., and all "CCP" rules for transfers will apply.

2) yes, you can pay with a different character than the "listed buyer". after all, the seller just wants the isk.

Just make sure that if you are doing a "private sale" with another person, that a forum thread is made, so if there are any problems, the GMs can see proof of such a transaction taking place.

I myself (this is one of my alts) have been involved in over a dozen character transfers/sales.
I definitely don't scam people because all it will do is put you on the GMS s**t list and you don't want that ever in this game.


btw, because of the GMs very busy schedules, they try their damndest to answer any and all petitions dealing with character transfers asap. just gotta be patient, that's all.

Is character trading supported at all at this point?

if the guidelines are followed and things are documented will a trade be supported?

Just means you cannot try and pass yourself off as the original owner...e.g: if a player contacts you thinking you are an ex corp friend you need to inform you have purchased the character and not pretend to be the person he has known.
