New build to fix a few things.

Build 2.3.5246.30876

  • Fixed an error that would crash the program if you copied the shopping list with items of different meta types.
  • The output of the copy function on the BP and Shopping List will now include the Decryptor / Relic and meta level in the item description if used.
  • Updated the S / M / L / XL check boxes to work better for ammo, weapons, and control towers. Specifically missile sizes and Control Towers (Large) will display as expected.

From which API does IPH get the daily volume for an item?

EVE Market Data

Thanks for the reply! How does it us that to generate the SVR? Since EMD's item history API doesn't give an average daily volume but rather the exact volume for a given date (for a max of 30 days) does IPH take the last 30 days daily volume and just generate an average? I ask because i'm trying to create a spreadsheet that shows the average daily volume for specific items in a specific region. I can do it as mentioned above but that takes up a whole lot of spreadsheet real-estate and runs it to google doc's 50 call limit real quick - making it of very limited utility.

Respectfully,
Sakuma

Sorry for the late reply. I use whatever values are present at the time for the date range given. If the user selects 12 days and there are only two records within that range, I average those records then use that with the build time to calculate SVR.

It's pretty spotty but there isn't anything else out there that does this through an API. CREST will allow you to query the data for year (as in game) but I'm not sure if it contains volume yet. I plan to use it later for showing price trends and such, but it can only be queried for one value at a time and you can't just pull it all down or limit it by date.

Hope that helps.

Hi I was wondering what inputs you use for the reverse engineering cost section of the blueprints tab for IPH?
I have been running some manual calculations for the different relic types and it doesn't match what this tool says.

What exactly does the value 'RE cost for runs' represent? It can't mean the cost per successful RE job, or the cost to produce 1 run of BPC.

Thanks for such a good tool anyway I'll look forward to possibly hearing from you :-)

I have a question, first of all, thank you for a great piece of software it is amazingly useful for any industrialist. I just have a problem since the latest update, it seems that at least some t2 ships are not able to be selected unless you select "ships" and the size of the ship, ill include a screenshot so you understand. This just started with the most recent update to the program

here i am trying to look up the crow, notice i typed only a c and an r http://puu.sh/8RkBo.png

It also doesnt work if you just search for the crow without typing anything, but if i select ships and check only tech 2 and the S checkbox, all of them show up like they should http://puu.sh/8Rktr.png

It is the cost to produce the runs entered. So if it is just 1, then it's the cost for 1 run of the BPC. If you RE a 10 run BPC then the total you see will be BPC cost / Runs. I do the same calculations for T2.

Norton antivirus considered IPH as threat and removed it, and here it goes with all my settings and assets I saved it in. Is there anyway to go around this ?

As a fellow developer I absolutely hate what I'm about to do, but I have to:

Did you fix the checkbox for the Broker Corp in Select Application Settings? It still doesn't save and it's starting to annoy me that I have to manually add that to the cost of building something, effectively skewing my ISK/h by quite alot on certain products.
If it's not just because of a simple .save() you forgot, can you atleast default all those standings to 0 instead of 5? I wonder how many people out there are actually losing money doing stuff because they forgot about the taxes.

What? Sorry man, I'm trying to find a solution to this. Really frustrating.

Current industry job not showing the full list of corporation jobs installed in the POS lab, only showing the jobs tied to the api key added at the start of the installation of IPH, although I tried to add the other api key of the alt and selected it as default character at that time nothing is showing in current industry jobs under corporation.

Also is there a way to turn off the special edition ships from the manufacture list, as far as I know(?!) these ships aren't seeded as blueprints and they aren't actually considered profit or loss or any of that kind, I don't know why they from the first place ..lol.

Can you add check box under blueprints type for special edition ships ?

Thanks. However, even with this standing set to 0, the taxes and fees that it calculates are still off compared to the ingame taxes. The broker's fee appears to calculate correctly compared to the one ingame, sales taxes however does not. It seems to amount to 0.25% compared to the 0.75% I get ingame for some reason.

New Build to fix some errors and correct some bugs.

Build 2.3.5259.10898

  • Fixed an error that would crash the program when attempting to update shopping list assets with data interfaces used for invention jobs.
  • Copy and Pasting of assets to update the shopping list should now work correctly when the copied assets include containers.
  • Loading a shopping list from file when the file is already open should now correctly display an error message and not crash the program.
  • Updating assets with 'Update Assets when Used' checkbox selected will now correctly update assets located in different saved locations.
  • Added a 'Blueprint Copies' selection to the Asset Viewer for viewing BPCs used in invention.
  • Updating assets in the shopping list will now update BPCs.
  • Selected items in the shopping list can now be deleted by hitting the delete key in addition to right clicking and using the delete menu.
  • Added Min Sell and Buy Max columns to shopping list for comparison of prices for the Buy Type column. Cost per Unit will always be the cost you set in update prices or elsewhere.
  • Added a column on the View Current Research Agents window showing the number of datacores available from current research agents.
  • Fixed an error in tax rate calculation values that would give a lower tax rate than intended.

Note on the errors people are getting with virus scanners. I tried to register the program and updater with Norton and AVG but they both came back and said it didn't cause any errors on their end. I'll see if I can get one of them to register it but for now, you might want to just put it in the ignore list. It would also help for you to give the exact error you see so I can try again with the companies.

Industry jobs are set up to only show the jobs of the character that installed them. If the character API doesn't have a corp API for the corp they are in, then it won't show jobs on corp POS. If you are still having issues, evemail me and we can work through it to see what might be going on.

As far as taking out the special edition ships, I have had something for that on my list for awhile now but just haven't gotten to it. I'll see what I can do soon because yeah, there are a lot of BPs for ships I know we can't get. I'm not sure why CCP has it in the database like they are.

Thanks for pointing this out. I totally had it switched around. It should be correct now. The brokers fees are weird and most times it won't be exact because I can't get the full standing value that CCP uses but instead the rounded one.

Try it now with the last update. I'm 99% sure this was the same issue others were having, I just couldn't track it down for some reason until you gave me your API that crashed first try. Thanks again!

Category: Quarantine

Date & Time: 20-Mar-14 11:54:47 AM

Risk: High

Activity: eveiph updater.exe (SONAR.Heuristic.120) detected by SONAR

Status: Quarantined

Recommended Action: Resolved - No Action Required ,

Path - Filename: c:\users\XXXXXX\appdata\roaming\eve iph\eve isk per hour\eveiph\eveiph updater.exe

It's an old report because the latest one I had to restore the file from the quarantine, therefore it's deleting the risk from its log but it's same issue anyway.

Could you regain price editing in shopping list?
Sometimes in program overdue prices than in market.

Thank you.

Is it possible to add two buttons, one that goes forward in the history of blueprints that you've viewed and one that goes back? It would really make it alot easier to navigate some of the more complex blueprints from raw mats to finished product. Right now it's necessary to remember the blueprint one was researching when checking out its components and have to type it back into the search field.

\o/ \o/ Hello! Its me again haha :P I was just having an issue with the calculations the program is showing.. I am not good at explaining so I will let this do the talking..

http://oi57.tinypic.com/vevtvm.jpg

This is a screenshot of two instances where I use Normal Strip Miners and Modulated Miners with T2 Crystals... Am I missing something or is the program telling me that I will get lesser yield with those T2 Crystals than I would with the Strip Miner I? lol..

The key there is, 'None' in the crystal column. IPH thinks you don't have the skills to use the crystals and hence calculated yield for T2 strips with no crystals, which indeed do have a lower yield than T1 strips.

Check the skills loaded, make sure that the skills for the crystals reflects.
