reasons why a POS lab cant be used?

ok, ive got a little bit of a problem here, myself and another member both with identical roles in corp, have access to our POS, how ever he can use the labs and i cant, any one have any idea why?

sounds like you're missing the "Scientific Networking" skill.

nope, level three already looked at that one. altho for some reason S&I reports my remote research range as "limited to -1 jumps"

Required Roles

All Mobile POS lab jobs have to be started from a corp hangar (not a corp hangar array) and the person starting the job requires the roles "Rent Research Slot" and "Factory Manager". Unfortunately the person putting on the jobs will also require access to a corp wallet (make it an empty one), even if you are not charging for the slots on the POS labs.

your only mistake i think might be that even with the slots being free you still need access to a corp wallet division even if there is no money in it

you dont ther are two people currently using said lab, not one of them has wallet access.

clear your cache, sounds like it's broken/stuck and reporting the wrong info for you.

EDIT --> the BPOs you're trying to research are in the CORPORATE hangars, right?

OK, then you likely don't have all the roles you need (or something else is really borked). What's the error message you're getting when trying to install the job?

the one about needing access to a corp wallet division. which is not relevent b/c the slots are free, and my corp mate has identical permitions/roles/etc and he can i cant.

OK, if you're using POS labs, you ABSOLUTELY need access to a corp wallet (even it it's empty). is he sure he installed the jobs in the POS, and not just in the local station?

I'm thinking that might be your problem. Even if you don't think it's required, why not eliminate that from your list of options to try?

CEO should check the jobs in the POS to see if those guys actually installed jobs there.
