The only thing that CCP should be working on is getting their paying customers back online with their accounts.
Nothing else matters at this point. If we can't login to play there is no need for any work to be done on the game. No one will be there to play it. And if something isn't done soon, they are going to lose paying customers by the thousands.
You would think that their income source would be their top priority, and there really won't be any need for CCP at all if they don't fix this soon. like 24 hours soon.

I am getting this too (on several accounts)

"Your email address ** is unfortunately not supported by our email provider and we are unable to send/receive emails from this address. Please file a support ticket to have the issue resolved by following the link below."

Which means I am loosing training time. Could you do something about this?

Could you not reverse the change until the "bugs" are sorted?

Or at least give customers notice before so they could verify their accounts before the change?

I see on another thread where a moderator claims that the email verification change was announced a month ago. To my knowledge, this is factually incorrect. Searching through the forums, dev blogs, and other EVE news channels, the earliest mention of this I can find is here on November 10, 2016:

https://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/email-verification-coming-with-eve-online-ascension/

Assuming that I am correct that this is the earliest public announcement of this change, it is not helpful for anyone in an official or semi-official capacity representing either CCP or EVE Online, including volunteers in sanctioned roles, to provide false information regarding this matter. The thread where the claim was made of an earlier announcment than the above was made here:

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6718636#post6718636

Trying to spin this situation as something that was somehow announced well in advance to players is not conducive to improving relations with customers. We all want a resolution, but denying the core facts of how we got here does not improve matters but rather enflames them.

CCP Falcon acknowledged in his recent post that the announcement of this change first went out about a week ago, and that is consistent with the information I've been able to find:

https://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/new-security-features-with-eve-online-ascension/

I found CCP Falcon's post to be constructive and appreciated the acknowledgement of responsibility by CCP. I am still angry and frustrated like many others, but his post was a step in the right direction. Beyond this now, however, what is needed is processing of the support tickets before things degrade further.

Yes it atleast acknowledges some of the bugger ups, but we don't need that right now we need every employee of CCP to be fixing the login issues as a Priority One Issue, doesn't matter if they are dev's, managers or friggin cleaners get it fixed! More frustrating then anything is people are getting replies about minor issues like their bio not being visible, but 100's of long time users not being logged in and we hear nothing for days on end

Questions to CCP

What's the ETA on restoring service to paying subscribers?
Why have you not reversed the change to resolve the issue quicker?

The module is online, deducted the fuel for the online process and yet in station services Industry shows as DISABLED so cannot use. Checked my lists and profile and have done everything possible but they can't be 'enabled'. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Can you check this out please CCP or tell me I am missing something?

I had the same issue, offlined and re-onlined cleared this but now if I try to load an Indy job, no facility is found and the facilities tab just shows an endlessly spinning icon.

I have raised a bug report (this char) but can't get the number as I also have an email conflict (ticket also raised).

As frustrating as it might be folks calling for all of CCP to be working on the log-in problems is rather silly. A company isn't like an elementary school soccer team. Everyone has priorities and expertise--most of the employees probably don't even have any familiarity with the login/email problems and have their own jobs they are qualified and assigned to be working on. Meanwhile, there's been a major patch release, with dozens of bugs to sort through that all still need attention by qualified people alongside the larger issue. We all need to be a bit more realistic.

Growing to like the simulator as I get more familiar with it. Would even move away from 3rd party tools if it held more fittings. Also wondering if these are saved in a way that they can be pulled later if catastrophe struck and I had to reinstall for example---something similar to the overview?

Thanks for bring the bios back.

Have the same problem with the facility is not found and just keep spinning. Then when trying to switch tabs, it is not possible to do so, it won't let you hit the jobs nor blue print tab.

When i jumped gate while making the bug repport then facilities showed up, when but i arrived at destination, nope it was not there anymore just the spinning icon again.

Since the patch remotly donating plex don't work, in account management it states that you have omgea clone. Once in clinet it tels you to update to omega, even thou the account is subbed.

The last two of my blocked accounts became accessible this morning after I was finally able to receive verification codes. There was no new response to my ticket since Thursday, but I assume CCP did something that resolved my situation and perhaps also for a few other players that might have had a related cause.

The rate of progress has been slow, but they seem to be getting things back in working order a bit at a time.

It's been an enormously frustrating situation to say the least, but hopefully they'll get a resolution for everyone before too much more damage is done to strained relations. Best of luck to everyone that still has outstanding issues.

Same boat here. Email address in their system was corrupted by the update. Waiting for days for an actual response. Accounts expire in nine days. I will expire with them if this isn't fixed soon.

Have played for years. Never been so upset with a gaming company. Never had a gaming company do this to loyal users before.

Six days in, and I'm still unable to access two accounts.

Has there been any talk about compensation?

Yes it has been talked about. It is in a dev blog. I'll save you the trouble, but then you owe me one ;-)

"Our customer support team is working hard to resolve cases related to these new security systems, and we have drafted in a significant number of extra staff to assist. We hope that we’ll be able to reach every affected pilot very soon and resolve any login issues that pilots are still experiencing. We will also compensate missed Omega clone state time for anyone locked out that they are assisting."

Hello Hellcat Aideron, welcome to the endless opportunities in New-Eden.

The server is down every day at 11:00 UTC, it's the daily downtime. Players refer to it as DT. Usually lasts 10-15 min but for updates there is usually an extended DT which will be announced by CCP.

Have FuN!

The ice drone bug seems still activ. In Tolle should have been an Icebelt spawn at 18:16. It is not. 4 hours ago i saw a lot of Ice drones there mining.

Edit. Todays patchnotes say fixed. Thanks CCP.

CCP please also look into the drone issues. I submitted a bug report last week and have video. Since the patch, It is now extremely difficult to kill NPC elite frigates with heavy drones in Null sec, regardless if I have drone tracking modules fitted. 19 drones total between myself and 3 alts and it takes sometimes over 5 minutes to kill one.

Don't know why, but this worked just now to unlock my two paid accounts with .msn email:

Clicked Login on the Forums page.

Clicked Forgot Password. Entered the user name, not the email address. It found the account and sent the email. Unlike the verification emails that never arrived, this one showed up just moments later.

Clicked the link and successfully "reset" the password; actually, I just set it to the same password already on the account.

Tried to Login on the Forums page and got the message that the verification email was sent. And the verification email arrived almost instantly. The account is verified and active. Apparently, resetting the password fixed whatever DB error was introduced during the patch.

Oh, and I'm still waiting on responses to the tickets I filed a week ago.
