If you hate Khrom, Shadow and some other guys this doesn't mean that you have to lose your dignity and publicly kiss Tora's beehind. As a sidenote, your kisses might make him feel a little better, we all know his ass got kicked very hard during the past two weeks. You learned to discipline yourself in RKK, although some former colleagues of yours did not speak highly of you anyway.

To prove you wrong, just this time, the parasite you hate so much organizes ops, does the footwork by himself, hunts and kills with the group, jumps in to save any alliance member in trouble, srps very expensive ****, splits the loot taking equal shares and the list could go on. And he's not the only VMG leader doing this. You simply hate VMG, I do not know the reason and I really do not want to but being stupid on the forums doesn't help you much at what you're doing right now in PL.

As I said earlier, it is just a game. Some people keep forgetting this. No Tora is not a good leader at all. Maybe in the past he used to be...but now he's not.

Coming from the guy that was going to lead ATYPE against VMG so they could get Jita back and then logged off and didn't log back in until after the war was over... You're terrible and anyone I've met who has flown with you in the past are glad you've been forced into the corner cause they can't stand you and your drama.

So who told you I was going to lead Atype against VMG?

Yes we got seraph IX barasab as a 3rd party negotiator to ask about the reason and after long discussions with both him and Scandor we came up with your abuse of moderator powers in channel.

I personally don't star in a drama, unless there's a new opening for me on all my children.... Or some other soap opera in the near future I could play as that crazy guy that doesn't wear pants.... Woot I can see it now.

Go ahead and search my character name for having ever said the word "hate" towards VMG. I can tell you right now I don't "hate" VMG or "hate" anyone in it. I've expressed multiple times I disagree with VMG's direction hence why I even care to post. Which was the last alliance I disagreed with in High-sec? It was Marmite and my group started the "mermaid" term. I'm a pretty easy character to figure out if you ever took the time to predict my next moves. I don't forget conversations and I'm true to my values.

Regarding people not speaking very highly of me, I do feel sorry they feel that way. I've tolerated some of the wildest personalities in Eve ranging from Uncle Bao, Kai, Vegasmirage, PK, havo, and a multitude of others. If anything I'm probably the last person to give up on another and I've always been this way..... hence why I always white knight. If the people you say have spoken ill of me are in your alliance then I would find that to be a sad situation. Gourack, shadow, mackers, and the list goes on.... The last time I've spoken with any of them on comms the conversation was probably full of laughter. As adults I have faith they would appreciate my viewpoints as I have always respected theirs.

On the topic of Tora, yes I do think he is showing leadership qualities by sticking by his guns and seeing this thing out. When times are tough groups do falter but only one person can truly bring everything back in and that is the leader. Giving out isk and splitting loot is not a leader, thats a good friend. Leaders don't have to be your friend to be successful.

Okay. From this viewpoint, I can agree. It's important that a leader makes decisions, and sticks to them. Conviction is critical to success. I recently told another Marmite player... if they desire to see something happen in game, they need to force it into reality. Don't just ask for it to happen and hope.

Now Tora... do me a favor, and don't consider what I'm about to say a flame. I say this impartially as I can, and I prefer it is viewed as constructive criticism.

Tora's current failures as a leader, stem more from his inability to take the desires and well being of his pilots into account with his actions. The whole situation with OniNeko should be set aside as "Special circumstance", but even so, there's a number of Marmite pilots who frankly "Think this war sucks", and don't see the wisdom in it. One of two things is going to happen at this rate. Either Marmite will be crushed, or VMG will be crushed. I'm not going to even enter into the debate on who I think is going to win, because I'm biased, and the answer is pointless.

So let's look at why it has to be this way. Is it because VMG has Marmite permadecced? Perhaps. But we've all been around EvE long enough to know that anything can happen, and the most bitter enemies even, can find a diplomatic solution. But there's a flaw here. VMG cannot currently even consider withdrawing thier war against Marmite, because Tora is knowingly aggressing VMG protection contracts. As an act of war, it makes perfect sense... but I cannot abide a good leader telling his men that VMG or Khrom, or anyone else is forcing this war on him, when he has made no attempts to relieve it.

No acts of good faith, no encouragement of peaceful middlegrounds... Tora has made it very clear in his actions, that he is just as much at war with VMG, as VMG is with Marmite. That should be fine, if both sides simply accepted it that way... but this is not the case. What I'm about to say, unlike earlier statements, is more opinion, and I encourage those who've read thus far, to not accept it as fact, or anything that I can prove. I feel that Tora's pride in both his name, and the Marmite Collective name, are preventing him from taking the actions that a good leader should. I feel that he needs to either announce his desire to tear VMG apart, or begin figuring out a plan for coexistance. Both of these would be strong moves for him to initiate, and both would cement him as a strong leader if he followed through with them.

Again, Tora, this being your thread, I apologize if anything in this post is taken as an attempt to flame. But I just feel that it's about time someone f'n stepped up and just said it.

EDIT: And seeing that Marmite can still be active after countless of merc wars, Devils, POH, Pod-Repo, BAW, PIRAT. I would honestly say Tora is doing something right when it comes down to keeping his alliance intact. As most tend to fracture when mercs place pressure on them.

FUNATIX, Archetype, Abso, Deadly, Logitech Blasters, Space Warriors, and the list could go one for a while. Every Alliance has capable people, getting those people invested into an alliance and herding them around without making it seem like logging in is a task is something very hard to do. Especially when Merc Wars tend to be considered High-Risk do or die sorta things by those who are apart of them.

Pants off, you need your balls to breathe so you can go balls to the wall... Thought you were supposed to fly fearlessly.
