I've added a new feature that allows you to browse the market in real time. This is still an early experiment and will be expanded with new functionality in future (possible integration with stock lists for example). Happy holidays!

Are you using the link in the registration form? It should lead you here https://community.eveonline.com/support/api-key/CreatePredefined?accessMask=82317323 where you have all the necessary permissions already set (don't change them).

Does the latests profits margin is calculated of what you bought the items for or on average price?

Profit margins are calculated per transaction basis, so by whatever you bought/sold items for. As for statistics (e.g best margins) it's the margin of your sum of sales and purchases for each item.

When trade order is complete, would it be possible to find how well it did and first of all that it is gone in first place or is likely to go soon.

Good job so far ! This is a pretty good tool for tracking your transactions.

One suggestion I would love to see implemented is to just be able to remove buyer side broker fees from the calculation all together (or just always reduce to 100 isk). You were on the right track with the citadel tax options but if the name of the station changes or you end up working from another due to conflict you have to repeatedly add entries on the citadel page. It would be easier just to completely remove the buy side tax since alot of people exclusively buy from citadels now anyways (and there are always 0% stations). My profits are largely understated due to not thinking about the name change of the station i was working in and not keeping up with the citadel entries.

I see. I wasn't aware of this and can probably add a simple on/off switch to buyer broker fees.

Pretty sure this isn't showing corp assets under directors? So it's not showing any towers for example, or items in corporate hangar arrays? Or items in contracts? If I put 4b in a contract it just disappears. Is it dependent on collateral value to count contracts? The screen says 1 contract for 0 isk.

Does this program update market values quicker than eve-central? For large trade hubs the data always seems to be out of date.

Market prices are updated every 6 hours (for stock value estimation, etc). Price checks from trade simulator, order check or market explorer are as fast as crest allows (5 minutes cache).

As for the previous question, Corp api keys aren't supported yet.

Okay thanks! I guess I just want to make sure when I check the out of game browser for the buy/sell prices in one market compared to the second I want it to be correct so I am not buying something, to fly it to another station, to have the price be different already.

Not sure if I am missing something....but I purchased items in Amarr......flew them to Jita and sold them....according to the EVE Journal it should have been a profit as the items were resold for about 200k more per unit.....however ETM is showing a profit loss rather than a profit gain....suggestions?

Taxes and broker fees. It also assumes you bought items from buy orders and sold them to sell orders (since this is the most common scenario). If you think something still isn't right let me know your username and particular transactions so I can have a look at what's wrong.

Ah no....they were bought from sell orders and sold to buy orders....so the reverse of that....im assuming the system cannot track those kind of transactions?

Yes... as far as I know there's no accurate way of telling from which type of order items are sold to unless something changed on the api recently, so I assume the most common case. I will however try to provide an option to customize this in future.
