Theory 2.0. Drifters/Architects and Jove.

So I was searching the web last night and I did some more research. There was some theory that the Jovians were Terrans who then came across the EvE Gate and the "Enheduanni" discovered them and acted as there care takers as the other Terrans came who later became the Amarr/Gallente and so on.

After the Jovian's expanded they felt the impact of the disease which caused their fetus tubes to be destroyed or corrupted in the sense that not many Jovians can be created and are dead at birth. To cope with this they begun to experiment with cybernetics and AI's n so on and then the Jovian peoples (Who wanted to) chose to be sleepers in space to be awaken when the capsulers begin to do their thing. While the remaining Jove became Talocan (and then became drifters because there was no other choice)
after that the Architects/Enheduanni left in their exile, only to return as the others.

Due to the Enheduanni being that powerful they were physically able to manifest as a being, Being as in a Artificial intelligence.
But Esstlyn! You are said the sleepers did that! That they did, my idea is that the Enheduanni tried to reverse sleeper technology and manifested as a small AI and even Parasite. If you remember the (former) empress was infested with this "Ai". So Yea. The Enheduanni tried to cure the disease by using sleeper technology but made it worst as the Parasite/AI had infected them, creating the others.

So at the timeline is..
Terrans
Enheduanni
Jove
Sleepers.
The Others
now Talocan. Talocan have been said to also be drifters as they WERE a Nomadic race, hence why they are drifters, because nomads
After that the sleepers/Talocan awoke and now here we are. Harvesting Jove observatory to reclaim their body's and replenish there numbers by stealing capsuler body's.

So Yep. That's my theory that is kept together by trillions of straws. Just is just a base to work on. So feel free to make your own theory in the thread. My English isn't that good.. So yea there's that. anyway

Oh and why did the drifters attack the Empress?
Because the Drifters thought she was infected with the Architect parasite.

Try reading the official EVE Wiki on time lines and the like. Should give you a lot clearer information than sourcing from player theories.

This; also the EVE novels and EVE: Source. Templar One gives at least the outline of the origin of the Enheduanni.

Would also like to point out the Enheduanni aka caretakers and the sleepers aka architects were parts of the same organization and origins.

It seems like the Live Events, Fiction, and RP forums move a LOT slower than they used to. A thread can be dead for a month and still be high up on the front page.

Hi, i hope it's okay that i'll play the thread necromant, but i think this topic is still very fascinating.

The fact that drifter ships and circadian seekers are stealing these modules from the observatorys and the corpses of capsuleers, seems to point out that the drifters need them to create more Tyrannos pilots. That elements taken from the jove observatories could be the element their technology is based on, what would mean they need it to create implants.

Let's take a look on the Emergent Threats trailer.

With the appearence of caroline's star, some things happened in New Eden: The Jove Gates went offline, circadian seekers and the jove observatories appeared. Messages extracted from jovian observatorys state, that the incident of caroline's star caused a failure in their cloaking systems and that the circadian seekers than began to examine them. This caused a proximity alert which caused a system shutdown. Also the jovian jumpgets went offline when caroline's star appeared, so it could be possible that an interference in jovian technology was caused by the star.

Maybe the circadian seekers where searching for the Antikythera Element in New Eden, but they weren't able to find it in the technology of the empires. If they really are from a sleeper origin, the sleepers maybe need this element to create their implants which they need to implant into capsuleers and jovian corpse because of their special adaptation capabilities to implants. With the appearence of the wormwholes we noticed the drifters first time, so maybe they already had found a amount of this element in ancient ruins hidden in wormwholes.
The trailer says, maybe they stole the jovian corpses because of their need to recreate their bodys with it... this could also explain why they started to steal capsuleer corpses: The capsuleer technology is originated by the joves if i remember correctly, so it could be possible that the joves are using that technology too.

With this argumentation i also come to an explanation why the seekers and drifters went even more aggressive as the amarr empire and capsuleers started to gather the Antikythera Element - i think the sleepers will need it to recreate their civilisation and population. Maybe the drifters are still drones, just another type of it - thinking of remote controlled capsuleers. Connected with a virtual reality it should and could be possible that only a few sleepers are actual woken up and trying to move their minds out of the virtual reality into these capsuleer bodys.

If i am right, that would explain that huge armada shown in the video by the scope - it could be possible that the drifters will launch a full-scaled attack on capsuleer pilots to gather their body's.

What i don't understand yet is... who are the sleepers? That their appearance looks similar to the jove could be explained by the use of their bodys - but could it be possible that there is even more convergence between jove and sleepers? I am a bit confused about the fact that i found different explanations about the sleepers and their origin, some said they were jove that needed to go into virtual reality because of the disease that spreaded between the joves, others said that both were different races with near relationships in society... so i don't know if this theory does make any sense xD

Old thread or not this topic is of interest to many of us. Caroline's Star was too quickly pushed from the front page by other events. The trouble with the Amarr Empire became the focus while it might have just been a result.

The lore and how it still connects to the events of day to day New Eden is a vein of limitless creativity CCP can and should access more frequently.

Connecting the misty forgotten past to our turbulent uncertain present and the not predictable future takes the online community experience another level deeper into the virtual reality of EVE Online. I hope CCP is running multiple themes all going in different general directions so we can participate in creating the game arc with live events and our collective responses thereto.

The 'huge armada' was only about 200 drifters. More than that are involved in every drifter incursion. And many more than that have been routinely blown up.
