This is a sad, but well thought out outcome. My opinion regarding the punishment is that it is fair and appropriate, although IMHO, those persons not involved with the fixing of that match should still receive the skins they rightfully earned for matches before the match that was fixed.

I do hope that rules changes next year do not go to far in the opposite direction. Restrictions on working together can be far more onerous on the small, low/lower-level alliances than they are on the larger/huge alliances; but I have faith that CCP will be very thoughtful and reasonable on any rule changes for next year.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter and your detailed explanation of the results and outcome of the investigation.

Anyone else desensitize by the lengths players will go to in this game? I mean nothing shocks me anymore when it comes to cheaters and beyond. All for internet spaceships.

This is what I was eluding to on another thread when I said failing to punnish for the cheating etc in the first weekends match would lead to more cheating. Seems time has proven those of us that told you guys at CCP your failing to punnish would lead to this were correct.

It could be said that we will never know if many of the teams did not cheat to get to the level they did now as cheating as it would appear that cheating was taking place from day one until the very end.

AT your biggest ingame player event of the year and you go and let it be tarnished in such a fashion as one has to wonder if it will ever recover.

Obviously details of any action taken against Kadesh's account(s) would be private keeping with CCP's long-standing policies, but if Kadesh's come-clean story contradicts statements he made during the investigation I hope he will be banned for lying and obstructing the investigation.

I'm delighted to CCP take a strong stand against metagaming the tournament. Hopefully next year we can avoid the controversy which swirled around this one.

Yeah, watching all the Camel/Warlords/Hydra members ***** and moan for the past few weeks that DHB was lying and it was all a smear job by PL was hilarious. Equally so when they claimed Hydra never has ever been part of any breaking rules when their own head of the AT admitted as such today.

Really, it all blew up in their own faces hilariously and made them look more beta than before.

I think none of us minds the metagaming, it's part of EVE. But we do hate cheating, that's a whole other ballgame.
