The Token of Submission is the item given to new Amarrian Characters to authorize them as a Capulser.
Here's the current description of the item:

The object is shown as an item you can wear (Etsy anyone?), but is described as a document.

I know it has no other use in game other being ceremonial.
... But ....
It's an item I got so early playing EVE.
It's an item that links me directly to the Empire I play for...
While described as a set of documents. I see it as something my character wears proudly in formal settings (i.e. not my pod!)
(Again, Etsy People... I want a RL one!)
The Tolken of Submission is one of my prized possessions

However, With the Passing of Jamyl, It means there is change coming and a new Emperor.
As such, the Token of Submission will be issued in their name.

The issue here is that
It doesn't make much sense that my item should change. (Documents Issued by one documents signed by a Pope\President\Prime Minster\ect don't automatically change. And it would feel odd if that was the case.

And it would be odd for new Amarr Characters to get an item that still had Jamyl's name and not the Emperor's after their Coronation.


... There's basically one simple ways to go about this...


Update the current Token of Submission with the new information.
Then give items (Like The Rooks and King's HoloDisk) for each player to represent Jamyl's Token of Submission.

What makes this elegant is that is that we could extend this back for our Veteran players, and provide them with tokens for Emperors they played under. Thus an Amarr Character that started at the beginning would get Tokens of Submission for Dorian and Heideran! I'm not sure on the lore regarding Karsoth's Interm rule, but I'm guessing Dorian's name was used till Jamyl's Coronation. (Does Someone Remember?)


Yep, It's a small detail, I admit this up front.
It's important to me as it's now apart of my history in New Eden.
I just don't want to lose it.

I'm not sure if they give out the Token of Submission anymore, cos that was given out by the Aura tutorial, and I think that's been replaced by the new Opportunities thing ?


but it would be nice if you could get other Tokens, from doing stuff.

iirc, the icon for the Token of Submission, is also used for the Dynasty Ring, in one of the Amarr cosmos missions.

so the Token may be an item of jewellery, which is pretty cool, imo.

It should change to reflect the new Emperor.

But like you Alizebeth, I don't want to lose the connection to Jamyl as she was my Emperor, the only Emperor I've known!

I might be one of the few players that feel connected to Eve in this item. I'd be crushed if I lost it. (hence it's in a safe location)

The TES Auctoritas is Jamyl's lasting legacy.

Based on the information on the ship, it's in a class only occupied by the Diffter Battleship.
Informally, I've been calling them T4.

They reach up and punch above their weight for their size, like T3's.
But as far as I can tell, they don't have the hallmark T3 subsystems\modes.

The Auctoritas is finished, It was going to
the question is was Jamyl the only person to properly pilot it.

The better question is Did CCP Fozzy Make actually stats.

I think I'd have to pass on a token of submission.
I'm not even fond of pressing the "Submit" button on a web form...
