Yea buddy. 2 years in the Galmil about did it for me. Feels nice to breathe the fresh air that is piracy and dock where I please and be able to put up higher SP fleet comps.

Yes, we do know how to manage such systems. There are CM tools in place and lots of others. But firstof all there are methodologies of continious deployment.

Then you people are doing a lot better than us oldsters. Some of us stopped with straight C and PERL. Ruby, Python, your fancy objects, when we were pleased and ever so impressed with functions? This is just one of the issues I have with all the new tech. Not only is it personally unfulfilling, since no single person can, any longer, comprehend the entirety of the code, it's also prone to inexplicable, and hard to debug errors.

There was something to be said for simplicity. Yes, I'm getting revenge for my last job interview where I was told, and I quote 'Get out of here, old dude!' It was funny, but rude, so every time this happens in today's systems, I have to laugh.
