Unscheduled Downtime Extension – July 15, 2015

Hey guys,

As you’re all aware, Tranquility is still offline after today’s scheduled daily downtime.

This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.

Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and we’re hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

Right now, we don’t have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but we’ll keep you updated in this thread.

I get one rostered day off a month and it turns out that this is happening on that day, I think CCP needs to ring my employer and tell them I wont be in tomorrow because I will be playing EVE, if you' guys have fixed it by then!

Ha, in what universe? 5 years ago this would still be considered a short DT on a patch day, this is at max a bunch of unallocated skill points. ^^

this isnt the first time this has happend im just watching the thred at this point but as much as everyone is right we are lossing isk and play time we wont get anything for it that just how things go

I'm sure CCP knows what they're doing. For all the down times ever, there has been very few mess-ups, so one mess-up is not a big deal.
