I was browsing refreshing some people on the event channel about recent events in new eden when i got to the Jove gates becoming inactive. naturally i had to link a few systems.

I opened up my map and went over t the jove systems. It took me several minutes to notice but i eventually noticed with alarm that several Jove gates where back online.

The constellations B-HLOG And 0VFS-G where back online.

Whats more is the seemingly random DED site that appeared in one of the systems when i went to scan out any activity that might have been reported.

DED Site: QA Space Pig Dungeon. In the system U8MM-3

The name was odd. But the Jove have always been an odd bunch. So after a minute of speculation on he meaning behind teh name i dismissed it as creative thought. But then i started thinking. Who or what could be powerful enough to invade Jove space?

Further more Why where the gates now online after so many weeks of inactivity?

The who constellations are isolated from each other. Perhaps connected by a jump bridge or another form of travel. Whats more eery tho perhaps irrelevant is the fact that 0VFS-G has one of each outpost located in its systems starting at U8MM-3 and clustering out. Perhaps this was an experiment by the Jove. Or perhaps something far more menacing.

B-HLOG has no stations located in it. Tho during my investigations i noted the strange appearance of Gellente star gates in the isolated cluster. I thought this odd for a number of reasons starting with the fact that the Jove are supposed to Have there own gate network. Based on there own designs. Another reason is tho the gates appeared Gellente in origin they had a strange almost broken appearance. They lacked any scaring according to my scanners tho given the isolated nature of the systems and the fact that i could not scan in person i suspected some of this data may be corrupted or encrypted.

The other constellation appeared to have the same gates.

Further investigations revealed that the Jovian systems were not claimed. Sealing in my theory that the Jove no longer called these regions home. Something else was there now. Something that exists outside of the DED spectrum.

The gate link SF-XJS--HB-5L3 is the only thing that comes remotely close to these systems from K space. the line connecting the two gates passing with in 3 light years of the cluster, on my map. Tho that is just a computer representation telling me the gates are online and connected.

What does this mean For the Jove?

How long have these gates been active?

What is a QA space pig?

Who built the Gellente star gates?

Is this a prelude to things to come?

Only time will tell.
