Best ways to get in touch with CCP for event stuff ?

What is the preferred way for people to get in touch with CCP for event related stuff ?

I hear conflicting messages from different people.

Some people say the faction contacts are great. Others say that there is an ISD email address. Others say Twitter. There's also Facebook. And some other people say to use Slack.

It's all a bit confusing.

Define 'event stuff'
If you want to Roleplay in response to Lore events (aka Live Events) you have to use the faction contacts and hope you come up on Falcons 'I'll bother ever replying to this person' list.
