As always I found it an interesting watch, my thanks to the Scope journalists for such a succinct report.

As a student of the few scraps of old relics that are the ancient languages, the inclusion of the word "Antikythera" as the name of the mineral that the Drifters are cutting from the Jove Observatories is a telling one.

The best current translation I can give you of this word would be "the island of hate". It is from the word "Kythira" being the mythical Island of the Goddess of Love.

Whilst some say that this can be linked directly into the prophesies in the Amarr Scriptures, I for one shall not be preaching about the End of Days and Apocalypse just yet.

Whilst this revelation of the Drifter and Seekers do not bode well for us, I am not worried, we are Capsuleers, we shall overcome.

Perhaps, if so, that in itself is just as worrying.

The name itself is quite obviously derived from the RL Antikythera Mechanism, named for the location of its discovery.
