I did receive a Comorant (sp?) and am very grateful. I was on the verge of trying to get one having just completed the military assignments. I have just started on the industrial ones also because.. why not? Feel I should try them all out to see if one ends up appealing to me in practice more than its explanation.

Can't wait to take this bad boy out for some destruction... hopefully the enemies more than mine. Oh yeah.. Insurance time just incase.

After three weeks of two laps of all the systems the Bus is settling back to one complete lap a week.

In the meantime we are discussing cruiser fits in anticipation of November and celebrating Alpha and Omega.

as always kids, watch local, see if I am passing by.

A brief Bus update ( I was going to call it a Short Bus update but that did not sound quite right)

I am currently scrambling to get assets in place for November where I expect a bit of a rush. In the mailing list we are discussing alpha clone cruiser fits. These days I do two laps of a racial system in two different time slots so multiple timezones are covered.

as always, keep an eye on local and or rookie help as I make noise in both when on Bus duty.

and yes, I do take some time for myself to run the occasional Blood Raider site. Guy has to have some side hobbies, right?

Thanks for the awesome ship Mike!! My first destroyer was destroyed on it's first mission... because I did something stupid! This is a great replacement for it! Thanks again and it's a wonderful project. Hopefully in the future I can be on the helping end of his project. Take care.

Okay, so a couple of hours to Ascension.

I have been very busy getting things in place and I THINK I am ready for tomorrow.

With luck I will manage to do a full sweep of all 12 career systems in one day (but not one time zone)

Quite random (to me) but appreciated nevertheless!

I've been on the verge to pick up this game for few years now but never have done it.
I guess the main reasoning being subscription and learning curve involved = get burnt out etc before first month is up, risking a pointless sub.

Now that it's F2P I jumped straight into it.

Don't get me wrong, I still have no idea what I am doing, but I did read up somewhere you should finish all career missions first, which is what I've been doing right after finishing the tutorial chain.

Been thinking of joining either Pandemic Horde or EVE University.

Anyway, your kind gesture is much appreciated, OP!

At first I was like what is this? This guy for real? But I'm from Finland so I tend to have doubts about people giving useful things for free Lol Anyway there I was with a brand new and prefitted ship. Just by being in the right spot at the right time. AND speaking up. Really lightened the atmosphere. Cheers again!

Just got a fitted ship thanks to Mike and all the others -- thank you very much indeed!
It's especially nice because it's much better than just giving out ISK -- it's like giving someone the fishing rod and not the fish. It also gives the opportunity to mix up all the reading you have to do as a new player with a bit of flying around and doing missions and stuff.

Thank you mimke for the fitted ship, i have been on a week and keep hearing how disposable these things are...with 5 mil int he bank i try to keep them for a while so this is a big help and a genuine show of generosity for nothing in return.
