It's called "communication". Where certain sounds have meaning between individuals and thus some of those sounds are hateful and derogatory.

Generaly, i please hackers to prevent bad think about internet (megaupload's shut down, ACTA and HADOPI in France), but to shut down a game, i don't understand what it is for...

If this attack is only to "troll" CCP, players or to recieve a ransom, so this guys are not hackers, but only bad guys...

I hope in 7 hours this problem will be fixed What?

Excuse me if my ears perk up and I howl at the sirens when someone says something uncouth about a group of people. There are LGBT people who play this game myself included. And while we're of a thicker skin and deal with the usual banter and hair trigger responses like OP it really is annoying seeing the Eve community reduced to that of COD in the blink of an eye.

Looks like CCP has a real problem on its hands.
Whether they can chase down the asshats responsible in short order is irrelevant.

What is pertinent is the fact that CCP clearly has no strong defense against this, and if any motivated group wants to shut down Eve, it is pretty clear they can. It is just a matter of how long they can keep it shut down for.

I'm just glad Eve has a community of folks like you guys who let people like me know what it going on. Otherwise I would not have known this was a hacker issue until it came back online again. Thanks for being loyal community of complainers.
