I could be wrong, but I read some post (sorry can't recall source) that DDoS are unpreventable. again, I could be totally wrong about that.


They're preventable to an extent but yes due to how information is sent and received its almost impossible to filter out all the fraudulent requests made to the server even with a 3rd party Corporation running security 24/7. Literally if someone felt like it they could throw TB's worth of requests to the server and just absolutely wreck it in minutes. This doesn't happen often so I'm willing to give CCP benefit of the doubt.
