I just noticed... the site isn't encrypted. A bit irresponsible to not encrypt a public website that has a login-function.

Edit: Okay, so it *is* encrypted, but the login isn't (making it practically useless)

Edit 2: Encryption is now working properly, awesome dood.

Update 2.1 (Citadel):
Arrow Updated the static EVE database to Citadel update
Arrow Added all new Force Auxiliary ships to the ship progress area
Arrow Added an option to export your skill plan to your local clipboard to import the skill list into your EVE game client skill queue
Arrow SSL encryption is now enforced while visiting this platform
Arrow Fixed an issue that caused some prerequisite skills to show up in the wrong order after adding them to a plan

This is my most used tool for EVE so far.

Have a couple of feature requests from a rookie player:

1. I'm really missing skill information part (something like this: http://eve.wikia.com/wiki/Acceleration_Control). Maybe you can add and icon or something with a link to "evepedia" and/or market?
2. Same for ships in the ship tree.

PS. I'm also web-dev so I can help you with adding this / other staff. If you have source open somewhere, I can add PR with this feature.

Can you add a feature to create a blank character without needing API, similar to the feature EVEMon has?

Sorry, but that's nothing I plan to do in the near future.

The architechture is built in a way that I would have to simulate too many fake API entries this way.
You may still add whatever API key you like and create skill plans for "empty" characters.

I decided to try EVE-skillplan and it looks very useful. Thank you for putting in the effort to make this.

I was wondering how the app chooses the order of the characters in the character screen and if there is a way to rearrange them?

They are sorted by skill queue length. So the character having the shortest skill queue comes first.
This was requested by some users a while back :)

An option to manually rearrange them does not exist right now.

Actually there are still certificates in EVE, and not all of them are tied to ship masteries.

Okay, so maybe (probably!) I'm having some type of severe mental deficiency today, but now that I've actually created an account, where do I get started? I've literally clicked on every link I can find on the site and haven't reached any page that asks for an API key, etc.

I searched but could not find - would be very cool if we could drag and drop a pilot to change their order the way they are show in overview

I didn't read the whole thread so maybe this was already mentioned, but you should implement boosters.

I just started a new alt today and he came with a cerebral accelerator that adds +3 to all attributes, but there is no way to incorporate this into my skill plan.

Issues when creating a skill plan with a 'No Skills' character

New characters don't actually start with 'No Skills'. They start with a baseline of skills.

While some of these skills vary depending on race, there are a substantial number of skills that are 'baseline'.

i.e. http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Starting_Skills

Right now, if I want to create a skill plan for skills X, Y and Z and share that publicly I can't 'ignore the invalid pre-requisites' and I end up having to 'add these skills in' to be able to get to the point of being able to create a properly valid skill plan for a new character.

Any possibility to choose a 'Blank Character of Faction X' or the ability to ignore specific pre-requisites because they're already included in the base character?

Why i cannot reset my password wih my user email? Am in a jam becuase i dont remember my user name. At least give it the option to reset by having the mail and linking back to the reset page.
