The only counter to Supers is more Supers. Why would we feed you BS gangs on a daily basis? Actual fighting in Battleships is a blast imo, but in Blackrise/Placid you will only have a couple minutes of fighting, if that, before you get dropped.

That and moving a BS gang without a titan is....less than fun.

we do undock our Battleships and Battlecruisers every once in a while. What you probably dont realise is that most fights in FW happen inside outposts, and the steady rhythm at which we burn through hulls isnt exactly gentle on the wallet.

I dont buy Plex to finance my PvP, and I doubt you people who ball up in 50+ fleets and stool on top of a gate can understand the parallel dimension called "small scale warfare" where you engage in dozens of fights daily.

do you get dozens of fights whenever you log on?

Such much fun to been had in huola at the end of week II.

Gal heros fight in rakka - minnies get owned the moment the gals leave.

I can not wait for week III to begin.

BS fights - I miss them, as BC fights - thx CCP for that.

The moment they fix the situation if FW space there will be tons of ganks wasting BS and BC again.

We actually do go out in smaller gangs in snuffbox, it's not entirely "50 man fleet" ****. (Though our 15 man abso gangs usually get reported as 50+ absos in the militia chats, quite amusing)


For example we fought the new Caldari Bohemian guys in their little ishtar fleet with our navy vexor gang (#Grarrdexors represent) quite recently. Actually chased a 10 man drake gang with 5 bs in the us tz the other day .... didn't kill anything oh the shame.

When we see a FW/neutral cruiser or battlecruiser gang we try to ship to a similar fleetcomp (hello t1 cruisers with augoror reps) though we can't always be bothered.

Anyway, it just seems to me there was more frequent "epic big stuff" that happened in faction war a few years back. Armor battleship brawls were pretty much a weekly thing between the various factions, sometimes with pirate third parties thrown in the mix. Nowadays it feels like there's either less High SP players or less FC's willing to do these kinds of things.

To me the appeal of Faction Warfare was always how fluid and exciting things were. Start of the day you see some frigates and destroyers skirmishing in the smaller plexes, more people start participating as the day draws longer, and things escalate to cruisers for the larger plexes. Before you know it one side has brought BC's to utterly trash the opposite cruiser gang who then goes and upships to fight the new threat and suddenly it's a huge BS brawl with guardians and sometimes capitals on field

People exchange gf in local and everyone is happy,

Very exciting stuff.

Yeah I miss 42/90 million isk Domis/Megas, and the 350 million isk PLEX too. Not to mention the 4k isk/lp wasn't bad either.

Last time i saw snuff out and about it was them trying to 3rd party a gal mil eve uni fight in a medium plex with a 25 man abso guard fleet sat on the gate.

Local chat was quite amusing.

Not as amusing as them failing to 3rd party a fight not so long back because someone (hello zenton?) failed to jump plan properly and their cyno got popped on field 1 jump outside bridge range lol.
