Update for the campaign to date:

1. Almost 3000 pilots have fought, killed, and died in Huola since 06 July. OVER 9000 ships and 1000 pods have been destroyed, for over 250 billion isk in total losses.

2. Amarr brought roughly 680 pilots, while the defending coalition of awesome has fielded about 450. Approximately 740 random neutrals, NPC corp alts, and bored nullbears (to include the obligatory PL supercaps) have seen the big red blot in space and decided to come play.

3. Defenders have lost approximately 98billion worth of ships, while the Amarrians have lost approximately 71 billion. Both sides have lost approximately 20 billion worth of pods.

4. Both the Amarrians and defenders are losing about 75-78% of the ships they field, in total. The defenders have fielded and lost higher total number of ships (5600 vs. 4700), with correspondingly higher total losses (4500 vs. 3600). This doesn't include the value or count of ships we've nicked from outside the POS shields - grand theft spaceship is still alive and well.

5. Neutrals and randoms wandering through have lost 27 billion isk, losing 646 of 1275 ships fielded.

So the Amarr, while getting more total kills and higher isk destroyed, and while enjoying the numerical advantage on top of that, have still not managed to make significant progress towards controlling the system. Props to both sides for bringing it.

Oh, and to you random bored nullbears - eff off, this is our house, you don't get to have any of this fun!

The numbers shall continue as well! It's the weekend, so it's time to enjoy. :D

Are you taking another "break" in the hope that our friends go away, just like you did last weekend? I'm sorry is our Coalition getting in the way of your PVE? We know how much you love to orbit buttons undisturbed.

Taking this many breaks within ten days of a campaign isn't very good, is it? Many more breaks and it can't really be referred to as a campaign anymore. More like "stopping" or "a failure".

Bravado aside, I know you've not stopped yet. I know exactly what you're up to. Starve the coalition of killmails and the non-locals will go back to their homes leaving you with your beloved 3:1 advantage. Our allies have been told that this is not the end and are with us for the long haul. So sure, let Dane and Pockets get their beauty sleep - they're gonna need it.

Lory, you or Major drop a dime, and half of Gallmil will be here in 30 mins or less.

It's probably over really, Amarrs greatest advantages were surprise and numbers.

Numbers are now neutralised, our allies have billions in assets they are leaving in the area plus jump clones. At best Anarr will get a 24 hour head start before Gallente/Pirate forces fill out any Minmatar gaps. Unless Amarr pull out a big batphone.

Surprise was the most important - they had the time to prepare doctrines, asset reserves, ISK fundraising, comm sharing, rallying all major corps and ensuring maximum membership would be available for the push. Minmatar Militia (well the Huola residents mainly) by and large woke up one lazy day in the summer and like me went on this forum saw this threads title and thought 'sh-t!'. After that first week it was only going to get harder, every day more of our pilots re-sub, come back from holiday, log in to update skills etc and realise what's going on etc and bring pain to the Amarr. Every battle increases the big red blob over the system and attracts more third parties, these third parties present more of an obstacle to Amarr than the Huola coalition. Every time Amarr plexus it's heart out to make headway on contestation and we slam it down to zero they lose more line members.

Huola coalition hopes the fun continues, but our suspicion is that Amarrian Vengence will keep this thread alive and plex the system down a year or two from now and then say "We got there in the end, Amarr Victor". Winmatar we know you will keep fighting, but then you have a history of thinking you are tougher than you are. Several Amarr pilots are already ahead of the curve and left the campaign.

That being said, GF Amarr and co, Faction Warfare at its best. There is no dishonour on admitting the plan has not worked but we will be back. Either that or total Amarr burnout and Tier 4 for the Minmatar for a long time to come.

Hotpocket and friends are in this way too deep and way too angry to just admit defeat. Those poor souls will plex their hearts out before giving up. I feel for them.

The last 2 days have been largely disappointing from our POV. Aside from the skirmish corps, there are barely any Amarrs to go around to kill.

We just jumped in 8 JF's worth of assets before downtime :)

Also, when you're going into structure "rep me.... rep meeee...." may or may not work.

Just curious, because it seems an awfully masochistic way to play the game...

I've only made about 14 mil from the 120 Kill Rights I have. Most are -10 already so it doesnt matter...

HOWEVER about 6 or 7 people have been popped using my KR and that alone was worth it. I would link the kills but I think it's against the rules. Prob about 200 mil isk ships/pods lost because some newbs I got a kill rights on went back to highsec thinking they were safe.

This thread is glorious and makes me want to rejoin FW.

Crosi do you have enough Venture alts to take care of Nis and Noto so chasing farmers doesn't do my head in again? Did the changes fix farming?

And where the **** is Tzen?

Haven't heard from Roflpockets and the combined might of the Amarr Psyops division lately.
I feel we should have a last word from them.
Something good and quotable.

...and who knows, maybe it'll have some semblance to reality. There's always a first time.

Looks familiar doesnt it? Just like the fall of tararan a few weeks before Arzad fell isnt it?

Because deep down you know exactly what's going to happen. Hence you are hanging onto your friends tooth and nail.

You know very well where this is going. The average guy doesn't. But it shows in your posts, you know where this is going.

Make sure you stock the market at 300% above market price. Whereby the amarr hand out more than atrons to each other for free.

1) I don't need to hang onto my friends "tooth and nail"; I'm not Amarrian scum or an angsty teenager with something to prove so I am able to forge friendships that are good and true. Take a look at the language you used and learn from it, mate - friends aren't objects you hold onto, they are individuals you respect and honour. That way they stand by you of their own accord, not because you promise them GFs or favours.
2) I know where you're going. Nowhere, that's where. We have more high calibre FCs in Ctrl-Q alone than you have in your whole so-called coalition. I'm so not even close to getting burnt - man, I'm just warming up. The Huola Coalition has dozens of great FCs spread over three timezones and we are all planning and helping one another to ensure that this remains a fun hobby that doesn't take over our lives. Which leads me onto...
3) Some of you Amarrians have pulled shifts over the last two weeks that are rather worrying. Makes me wonder if the Amarr are a bunch of fat kids with diabetes sitting inside circles of festering pizza boxes thinking that orbiting buttons all Summer long in the hope that we get bored and do something else in some way confers elite pvp status. Sorry, mate - that just makes you very sad. Seriously, though - you'll get deep vein thrombosis or something.
