Then you'd damn well better fix your 'Pin Window' thing.

And few people even knew of it's existence because everybody just rightly assumed CCP was incompetent when it came to 'Pin Window' not working, and learned to deal with it.

'Pin Window' that doesn't pin the window in place.

Are you kidding? How else I could prevent my UI from accidental move?
Not to mention, this option was there for years.
And... Did you run a poll, or collected some information about user preferences?
Or you just went nuts and decided to upset your playerbase?

For the love of god please put this back in. Nothing pisses me off more than a the target selection window or a chat box or something getting moved around in the middle of a PvP fight because eve decided to interpret me pressing my mic button (thumb button on my Logitech G5) as a click-and-drag on a window. I've only discovered it recently and it made Eve's UI about 90% more bearable.

Come to think of it, why the hell was this not turned on by default? "Pinned" windows imply that they don't move around, not that they just turn transparent.

Actually, I'd rather if the "pinned" button was split into two buttons, a "pinned" and a "transparent" button, so I don't HAVE to make my pinned windows transparent (and visa versa).

CCP, you better rename it "Make transparent" then as that is the only thing it will do.

Err, wat. Maybe I was just always with the in-crowd, but at least to me it seemed like most people knew and used it. I don't mean any disrespect, but in a game where the mouse is king and you click on things very fast, being unable to lock windows down is a recipe for disaster x.X

I'll admit, at first i looked at this and was all kinda "WTF is locked and pinned" because i set it when i started playing and forgot about it.

Seriously. Why pin a window if it won't stay still?

Can I use my 20% better tracking hybrids to kill moving windows? Maybe dead ones will stay pinned....

I use this feature constantly, it's one of the first 5 things I turn on when I do a clean client install. I have a feeling that this is not as 'noone uses it lol' as we're being led to beleive. I've been telling people its gone and they're stunned.

If 'pinned' doesn't mean imobilized, what does it mean then? If someone cloaks and you said "man that guy just pinned" people would rightly tazer your balls to make sure you don't procreate.

I can't wait to start accidently dragging my windows around mid fight when in a hurry to click stuff. hooray... Could 'make window not move' be just the default (since that what it means) activity to 'pin' a window? And if not, change the name of the function to "Make Transparent" so that at least it will do what it says its doing. :|

"Very few" people even knew of its existence because you f*cking have it default to not do anything.

I use it. I want it back.

WTH CCP! Moving windows is the most annoying thing! I was wondering why my windows were moving again on Sisi. I couldn't fathom you guys would be dumb enough to remove this! Who cares about pinning windows if they won't stay put? *facepalm*

Was not it clear players want UI windows pinned down? We asked to fix this after every patch, when windows strted to move around. So please fix it so we can nail'em down.

Seriously, a flag to prevent a window from moving is hard to maintain ? Please, stop being bad and don't remove useful features.

Don't free the windows, they'll get lost!

But seriously, it was useful. I, for one, really want to keep my windows pinned and not let them move about all on their own.

Shocked

You shouldn't! It is a good feature for active players so you can't move necessary windows during the battle. It's priceless Twisted

You better should fix it behavior when it isn't working.

Lets give the UI department some more time and change to finish their product...

I bet they had to take plenty of short cuts to make the new font usable before the expansion launch and I believe that this is one of those short cuts - even it seems to be little difficult to admit that again .) There was only so much they could do in the given time.

Anyway - In the end I'm sure that they are not happy with the end product either and if CCP keeps loving us after the expansion also, we should see few finishing touch UI updates soonish (without TM). I hope this gets fixed by then also.
