you didn't change the phantasm shield recharge rate btw .. fix it please .. also nightmare's need fixing

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Since the Kronos release I have been experiencing game lockups whilst playing EVE, the client freezes, then turns to a white background with a windows message saying that it is unresponsive. This can be whilst sat doing nothing docked or in the middle of combat, seemingly at random. It seems to be occurring at least once a session of a couple of hours or more.

Have the graphics needs been changed at all? I had no issues previous to the patch, frequently running 4 clients simultaneously for many hours at a time. Now, my game has frozen with just 2 clients sat in the space station dock screen for an hour or so.

Perhaps not. This makes it literally impossible for me to play Eve, putting an end to this unhealthy addiction once and for all. As much as I don't like it, if the end result is that I'm spending more time at the gym, more time working, more time with my girlfriend, then in reality it actually turns out to be very fortunate.

Yeah, some of them work, some of them appear to refill but don't contain anything. This is the issue.
Working on it now, as well as the double failure issue with containers within data and relic sites.
Will keep you all in the loop.


Update:
The issue with Hacking and Archaeology containers not exploding after a double fail has been fixed and will come out tomorrow. (The inability to hack them and the locked analyzer module issues were symptoms of this)
The refilling of the COSMOS containers has been fixed and will be released on Tuesday.



What I found:

Entering the cosmos hacking/archeology site for the first time allows you to get loot from all cans (if someone didnt mess them uo before you got there, see below). There is 20 minutes timer to respawn the loot in cans.

But the cans dont "lock" themselves within those 20 minutes and you can access the can even without the use of analyzer. Normally you would get message "you need special equipment to access..." if you try to open can after they newly respawned . You can also activate analyzer on these newly respawned cans and successfully hack them, but doing so will get the can stuck without giving you any loot and it becomes stuck until downtime.

One can reset all the hacked cans by (everybody) leaving the site and on coming back all newly respawned cans or hacked cans will be properly reset "in locked state" and now saying "you need special equipment to access..." . After hacking this cans with analyzer you get loot and can wait for another 20 minute cycle. But you will need to leave the site before trying to hack these cans again.

Another thing: leaving any loot inside the hacked cans will get them stuck same way until downtime no matter what...

Hopefully this will get the bugs resolved soon, so we can get to continue our hunt for eve riches in cosmos sites back to normal..

When moving BM's from hanger to "Places" the hanger view does not update, but the item count does.

Another problem - When accepting a contract of 20 BM's the "SLOWDOWN!" notice comes up. Shouldn't invoke on a contract acceptance since there is NOTHING I can slow down.

As with moving BM's out of hanger, hanger does not update properly when contract accepted that contains BM's.

When trashing BM's in station hanger the hanger does not update the view.

ohhh, just noticed the patch Kronos 1.2 will be tomorrow and will (hopefully) finally fix it all...

CCP, please confirm that this patch that you keep moving back also fixes the issue of some sites not despawning properly which your Kronos 1.1 patch didn't actually fix even though it said it would.

Hi CCP,

Not sure if you're aware but Low-Grade 'Spur' Implants appear to have vanished from the market.

Would be nice to be able to sell them again. Cheers.

Edit: Oh wait nevermind... Just appears to be a long delay (5 minutes?) between putting them on the market, and them appearing on the market. Can you confirm this delay is how the market works now?

Hi, COSMOS sites after the patch 1.2 is still broken. Sad
under certain conditions cans is no respawn after 20 minutes and stay empty to the next downtime.
my experiments:
1) I am hacking some containers, stay on grid, after 20 minutes cans is respawn
2) I am hacking some containers, leave the grid (docking), after 20 minutes cans is respawn
3) I am hacking some containers, leave the grid and log off, log in after 20 minutes cans is not respawn
4) I am hacking some containers, leave the grid and log off, but neutral character stay on grid, after 20 minutes cans is not respawn
5) I am hacking some containers, leave the solar system, after 20 minutes cans is respawn

The patch on 6/18.

I launch my Online Launcher. Hit Play.

Two windows pop up quickly.

1. "Connection Failed" and in its box "Incompatible Build" with an "OK" button.

and on top of that window...

2. "New Build Available" with the text" "There is a new build available. Would you like to download it now? The build is 6.0 MB in size." with a "Yes" and "No" button.

I click "Yes"

I get another window..."Verification Failed" with the text "The update was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again? You will not be able to enter the game until you download the update." with a "Yes" and "No" button.

I click "Yes"

I get another window..."Question" with the text "There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status: Unable to download file /590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe from the server. Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe not found Do you want to go to support page?

I click Yes...and I am downloading the 5.5 GB client again.

Oh heck...the same thing happened when Chronos came out.

What am I doing wrong?

Having the same issue, let me know if re-downloading the client fixes it.

I think the trick is to close the online launcher and then relaunch it...then the patch downloads and installs...and launches.

I'm having a problem creating a contract. I'm trying to do an item exchange, private availability, to a corporation, of a small freight container. I get to page 2/4, "Select Items," and said freight container is the only item selected. Click "Next," and nothing happens.

Bug report filed.

Anyone else with the same issues?

Since the launch of Kronos I have begun experiencing blue screen of death during eve startup with a IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL.

That in itself is not a major issue. Sure I have to restart the computer but that takes about a minute... my major issue is that every setting I have ever made goes to hell with the the BSOD.

I get to watch the intro movie again. My graphics settings, my audio settings, my keybinding, my saved overview and probe settings... they all fly out the window...

The worst is the probe settings. I use a custom probe deployment which beats the pinpoint deployment with a stick... it is a very precise placement so it takes me about 15 minutes to rearrange the probes to that configuration... so losing that hurts... and now that I lost them for the fourth time it starts to get on my nervs.

So please Please PLEASE make it so that I can export probe settings the way I can do with overview settings... Please?

OP Faction Warfare plex rats and spawn frequency!

Since Kronos you have made it extremely difficult for solo pilots to fight in offensive plexes. Rats spawn to often, usually when a war target is about to enter the plex, and they apply too much damage. I have many examples of this but here is the most recent -

I have to say that up to 33% damage from a rat in a small plex if unforgivable and it this is not tweaked I will have to only defensive plex fight, which is obviously not the idea behind FW.

^this and run repair tool from the CCP game folder on C:\ instead of the Launcher. It has worked out better for me that way.Blink
