Kronos, EVE Online's first release under the new six week deployment cycle, has been successfully deployed!

This release brings a huge amount of content with a full set of new pirate ships, more than three dozen rebalanced ships, audio customization, new and rebalanced modules, beautiful new visual effects, a reworked New Eden Store and much more.

Patching seems to have gone smoothly.

Drone changes are working. Not sure I like the new fritter cargo sizes - though i like being able to customise my manoeuvrability. Warp effects are good. Audio customisation good. Looking forward to selling and using the Prospect.

Oh, and the new Onyx model's lovely. \o/ for more symmetrical ships.

I just finished patching. So far so good. You also seemed to have fixed the US east coast hosting and I was able to download the patch at speeds better than 10Kbps.

I see I got medium drone operation skill to level 5 but it shows that I dropped my combat drone skill from level 5 to level 4 & I do not see a light combat drone skill at all?

I am looking at skills on eve gate, due to me being at work.

Scout Drone Operation skill still called Scout Drone Operation.

Electronic Warfare Drone Operation skill still called Electronic Warfare Drone Operation.

Also Incursus Aliastra editions shows the wrong image... that of the innerzone shipping edition...

Is there a direct download for the kronos release instead of patching via the launcher? ( I'm on a 3g connection at the moment but can use works fibre to download a patch via my phone. )

currently patching cant play hard till after work.... work is over rated but i don't want to generate content and so i work to pay my power bill

I simply hate what you did to Jump Freighters.

My nomad with 3 cargo expanders have less m3 then before and in this setup hp is also quite lower.


Rebalance should keep 3 cargo exp setup as it was before and allow us to sacrifise m3 for other stuff.


This way you simply nerfed them and as a Space trucker you get no love from me.

I have a problem that after 3 minutes no matter which account I start it says "CCP Exe File stopped working" .... I already started the repair tool but has no effect the problem stays

1st off on a happy note the Moa/Gila hull is much better looking than the freaky lookin object that it used to be...kudos
2nd the gila now has a 100m3 drone bay, down from 400m3, bandwidth drops from 125mhz to 20mhz, but oh wow thanks for that 500% bonus to drone damage? No, not drone damage, but medium drone damage, changing this ship from a great utility ship to a pitifully narrowly focused fairly pointless ship.
Appreciate CCP, taking all my drone training and flushing it.

Let me guess, you're looking at EVEMon. Combat Drone went away. After you log in to EVE, you'll see it's gone.

Ok, so my Charon gained 214550 m3 of cargo space, if I use T2 expanders. I still can't use Damage control units, not enough CPU. And I lost 34,462 hit points. It also won't fit reinforced bulkheads. So, I can't do anything to make it harder to kill. I can't even put on warp stabilizers.

Frankly, I would prefer it the way it was.

Same difference. Combat Drone is still gone as a skill.

Also, look for Light Drone Operation, not light combat drone. They seem to have taken "combat" out of the drone skill names.
