Some EVE players can not separate themselves from the game.

We all know lots of players in EVE are jerks in game.
Over the past five years I would find my self asking how much of it do they carry outside the game?

I think this pretty much sums it up.

vandalizing the monument is way overboard. These are "adults" doing this really pretty sad.
I think if it is found out who the player(s) are they are vandalizing the monument the related EVE accounts should be perma ban.
And as well as punished based on the countries laws of vandalism.

Poor taste.

The point of this thread it to draw attention that people are defacing our monument.
we all need to encourage people to not due this.
It has been not even a month and we have two confirmed cases of vandalism already.

Whoever did that needs their head checking... Congrats on being a complete **** in RL. Defacing something is vandalism and says a lot about that type of person tbh...

Ok, it's not the Vietnam War Memorial or anything, it's just a monument to a video game, let's keep this in perspective. A little vandalism will probably give it more character.

That is not really the point.
The point is why do some people think it is ok
to go around vandalizing art like this?

As a community I think we should be ready to stand behind CCP if they choose to take action on this sort of thing.
Say they find out the player who did it,
I think we should all agree taking action on the players account would not be out of the question.
