I would like to have the option of delete injected skills.

I am not asking to be reimbursed for the training time. All I am asking is the option to delete skills that I am never going to utilize in any case.

And lets limit it even further, 5 skills that you can delete per year.

Dear spacefriends

A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.

That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.

Go!

There is an odd bug on the scanning screen where the probe status text (that you can click on to center on a specific probe) can get lost if the probes are too close to a celestial. The lists of all the celestials will come up, along with the probe statuses, and when you click on a blank area of the screen to get the celestial list to drop the probes are bare.

It would be really cool if I could click on a signal (red, yellow, or green dot) and center the display on the signal (like I can center the display on a probe by clicking its status).

Now that the new Tier 3 battlecruisers are out I'd like to see the force command ships get some love. The absolution, in addition to it's current Command Ship bonuses, could use a 5% optimal range bonus.

I'd fly the Damnation but a tech 1 frigate can do more damage. I know the role of the ship is to provide fleet bonuses, but geez!

Why is cloaking considered an offensive ability when flying a tech 3 cruiser?

Could we have a box which tells us all remote effects on our ships? i.e.

Even better: have the ship's bracket in space highlighted with a box-out (in the style of trailers past) indicating the effect they are projecting.

Clicking on the box-out would highlight the ship in the overview and selected object window, allowing the player to take the appropriate response.

Not only would this make it obvious as to who is doing what, but would aid battle management when looking at the battlefield zoomed out.

I hardly use the default "keep at" ranges. Allow me to add my own ranges to replace the default ones and let me save those settings for my individual ships.

This ^^^^^^, but with a reimbursed of the points used so I can use them elsewhere!

Everybody did some mistakes with its training, especially in the first months in the game. CCP, allow us to make small fixes to the training by deleting trainings we do not use or need any more in a specific character and allow us to allocate those points elsewhere. Nothing critical or game breaking, just 3-4 skill deletion a year will be fine.

The ability to add bookmarks with placeholders to context menus.

so I can have, for a module or ship
http://www.somewebsite.com/manufacturecosts.php?typeid=[typeid]

Which, when used, opens up the browser to that website, replacing [typeid] with the type id of the module.

or something for a character, for a corporation intel site, that used that character id to share notes and such.

Available anywhere you can right click and get a context menu for that type of object.

Not sure if it's already been said, but the Phoenix needs an ammo buff.
Not so much damage or types or anything like that, despite it needing double webs on a carrier to hit it for full damage... :P
The real issue is reloading; you cannot shoot for a full siege cycle. With decent skills you have to reload JUST before it ends, which loses you a total of about 30 seconds of dps.

So, decrease ammo size or increase the cargo size on the launchers please!

What I would like, in the spirit of the new T2 ship builder logos is for it to say on the side of my Macki/Hulk/Orca in big black Babylon Industrial 2 font (or any other industrial font): ORE.

I want a "master skill queue" for an account.

Really, all I want is a place to order the characters on an account, so if one queue finishes on one character, and the next character in the list has skills in their queue, it starts up there (or skips to the third character if there are skills in that queue but not the 2nd). Not sure that's a little thing, but since we have skill queues, why not be able to rotate the queues on all the characters on the account?

Second thing (also not sure it's a "little" thing). The Rorqual Clone Vat bay doesn't make sense. When you use a Rorqual to cyno in to a system for mining, you can bring in ships and pilots, but you can only bring out ships. The pilots are expendable or have to find their own way home. Not very practical for a "deep space mining platform".

Enable the saving of EVE settings (other than graphics options which is very specific for different computers) to the EVE server.

I'm sure many of the players access EVE from more than 1 computer - At home, at work, at friend's house, on a separate laptop when travelling, etc.

The one frustration I had with EVE ever since I started playing in 2006 is that there is not saving of the settings on the server.

That led to me manually backing up and copying the settings every where I go, which is tedious.

EVE client is already a very huge thing to lug around in a portable way. Why can't settings be portable too - without players actually carrying it physically with him/her?

One little thing i would like to see is the following:

The addition of the broadcast symbols (need shield, need armor ...) to the watchlist is very nice, but at this point not really usable. If a player does not clear his own broadcasts by broadcasting something senseless (like "in position"), the symbols never go away. so there is no way of telling how old they are without going through the broadcast history, which makes the whole feature kind of useless. To change that, the following additions:

1. Clear the watchlist symbols when the broadcast histroy is cleared in the fleet window (there is a button for that).
2. give the watchlist a dedicated button to clear all the symbols, maybe more than one to clear specific groups like logi requests, align and warp commands ...
3. add a (configurable) timer symbol in addition to the broadcasts. Like a little circle that empties or a little bar. The length of the timer should be configurable. After timeout, the timer and the symbol are cleared. This would give the age of the symbols at one look and clear them automatically after a time. The timers should be configurable for groups (logi, align/warp, ...)

This additions would save pilots depending on those information a lot of time for looking up the stuff in the broadcast history, which can be cluttered for large fleets/move very fast. You were able to see the important broadcasts of your watchlist at one look and how old they are. You would see the timers renewed when the broadcast is repeated, giving more usability to the watchlist.

Maybe the watchlist could also be improved with the ability to put some buttons into each line (some people may not want them, others will crave for them). Like a "lock target" button for logis. Also, the options of the broadcasts in the history should be available via right click on the symbol, like seeing the align command from the fc in the watchlist and using rightclick in the watchlist on the symbol to do so.

In this way, the watchlist could become for fleet members what the overview is now for enemys, the control center of all your decisions. Right now it is the fleet window and the broadcast history, which are not optimal for that.

would be great if ships and graphics upgrades etc etc didnt focus ONLY on guns.....some of us use missiles too ya know, and for the naga to be completely gun based is completely non-caldari in my opinion some will agree some wont Sad

edit on naga: the torps it can use are basically pointless i meant more so the ship only being useful AS a gunboat

Hi,

This might infuriate some people, but i have a more conservative view on changes.

-please keep the game complex. Eve is one of the most complex game iv'e played, and it's fun that way. keep it complex, don't fall for making it easier to get more subscribers and more money. We love playing a game that requires you to know what you're doing. If you add new stuff, make it harder stuff, like C7 WH or impossibles incursions. We love challenges. Even if we complain a lot. Keep the game hard by adding harder endgame stuff, not making the game harder.

- On the same idea, don't change steath detection, don't nerf ecm. my personal feeling is that people dont use enough cap drains and ecm and non-dps modules or ships. support roles are fun ! they add to the complexity of the game, please keep them worthwhile.

- BlackOps : never used one, but they don't look useful enough. they look like they have an awesome role, but it's not used enough.

- null sec local : having a wh style local in nullsec might be overkill, but having a Local blocking unit kinda like the SBU could be an interesting mechanic. You go in a system, drop a beacon , scrams local (for a while or until destroyed). Blackops could do that ?

- just keep the game complex and make sure you don't add stuff that dumbs it down.
