One thing that has consistently been a bane to my information analysis in game was the inability to open multiple information windows at the same time. I'd specifically like to be able to open two or more information windows for side by side comparisons. I hate having to find items over and over to check information back and forth. On the same note, why can we not open multiple market windows at the same time or really any of the neocom information widows in parallel?

This little improvement would have helped me immensely throughout my beginning years.

Thanks for the commitment to fix our little issues.

The minimum width of the science/industry window would be nice if it could be about 50% less than what it is. Or at least allow minimization of the width down to the right edge of the "settings" tab.

I have lots of ships in my home base's hangar, many of which are collectables, or that I never intend to fly.

I'd like these separated in some way from the ships I do fly, such as a "Collectables" or "Showroom" tab, or the "Tabs in personal hangar" that this guy suggested. This is especially noticeable when creating a contract - it lists them all, but that could be partly solved with the use of filters. But it just creates a lot of clutter, which I'd rather not have to search through.

In time, and no longer a little thing, it could develop into an actual showroom, where all those ships are on display in the hangar at once. None of them would be considered the active ship, and they wouldn't be able to spin without bumping each other. (perhaps it would be a different physical hangar, so as to not clash with the active ship in the existing hangar?)

Even further into the future, you could perhaps walk (or ride) through this hangar, and even give a tour to friends/guests/potential customers.

A variation of this could be a special tab where bulk actions could be performed on all the ships there, to help those that fit a LOT of ships. Perhaps there needs to be restrictions, such as they all need to be the same ship?
You could drag a stack of 50 damage controls over the tab and it would fit 50 ships with one DC each.
Or link into the saved fittings and apply that fit to all ships in that tab. (It would be even nicer if it could grab these modules out of various containers, as I tend to put all my modules in appropriately-named containers, not in the root of the Items hangar.)

There are a number of threads proposing a T2 Orca or specialised fitted-ship carrier/freighter for all areas, including highsec (after all, that's where most of the ships are, so there's a genuine need to move them about), and shrink-wrap is just clumsy, so, until (if) that thing is developed, how about simply making a Freight Container that can hold a fitted ship?

Have multiple sizes available, for different classes of ships (all the way up to battleship).
I'm even ok with restrictions, if necessary, such as they can only hold ships, and perhaps even only hold one ship at a time, regardless of size. (and, no, I don't manufacture containers Big smile)

When insurance on a ship expires, I don't get notified until I open the Insurance screen. I seem to remember it used to send a notification as soon as it expired, but that changed a year or so ago (?).

Can it be made to do that again, or perhaps when I activate a ship, instead of me remembering to check the Info or Insurance screens every time I get in a ship?
(for those that deliberately don't insure their ships, and don't want spurious notifications all the time, it should only notify if insurance has "recently" expired (1-3 months?), and only give one notice, in case they did insure it at one time, but decided to stop.

Alternatively, perhaps a ship's status indicator (maybe on the Station Services window?), indicating No Insurance, Ship Damaged, Modules Damaged, Drones Damaged, etc, of the active ship.

Contract creation - on the item selection screen in that wizard (Pick Items 2/4), it shows everything you have, including ships.

Although there are probably quite a few players that contract ships, I'd imagine the far more common action is to contract items in the Item Hangar, so, either default the selection list to just items and have an option to show ships, or implement the existing filter system into contracts.

Change the default size of various confirmation dialogs to better fit the information displayed, e.g. "Really Accept Contract" - it nicely lists what you're about to get, but the dialog box is too small to display it all without me manually resizing it.

Planetary interaction

Players who takes PI as a serious industrial affair should easily tell the same.
The interface is very clunky and time consuming, I think with some little tuning it would become less click feast...

1- To be able to have formations for extractor heads would be very handy for ppl like me who usually rebuild extractor control units often. Probably predefined 2-3 formations should be sufficient. 1 like a flower shape (one ExHead in the middle), 1 like a rectangle shape (3 lines of ExHeads, 4 ExHeads in mid line, 3 per outer lines) and 1 like maybe circular shaped.
It would work as: when you put an extractor head it would automaticly comes with 10 extractor heads with a predefined formation and if you want to use less Exheads or arrange different formations you could use the current interface options. Moving Exheads as a formation (more than 1 Exhead at the same time) requires a click drag ability which needs to be added too.

2-Auto routing extractor control units. I find it very annoying to create new link routes every time i rebuild an excont unit. If new created links creat their own routes to linked target automatically, that would also help decrease the click f . And if one wishes to change or redirect or destroy the route, it would be done with current mechanics.

3-Extraction control unit timer: PI players know that there is a slider for time setting of Excont units but it is also very time consuming to set a spesific time. I would prefer a 3 boxes in which we can type 2 column nubers to set day-hour-minute.

Scanning - Love the new direction, here is an added functionality on a fleet-wide scale.

Allow scanning information to be shared immediately among all fleet/corp members. As the corp BMs are bit delayed, it would allow allow multiple people to section off and scan down the same system if it had a ridiculous number of sigs or allow for parallel/adjacent system scanning in real time. real time intel would be priceless and remove redundancy and increase efficiency

Seems like real-time shared intel is something a combat or exploration fleet with a buch of super-uber hi-tech ships would have.

If not - Immediate real-time update of Corp BMs would also be acceptable,

An option to sell multiple items to buy orders at once. Every few months I get all my loot/salvage/other random 0.0 junk hauled up to jita to sell, takes me an hour of right click, sell, accept.

Not fun.

Don't forget that scanning should be "complicated" (read: not simplified) Part of the scanning game is that it should take skill and well as skills, know-how as well is passive training.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

Dear spacefriends

A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.

That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.

Go!

fighting in eve seems to be cool however most of the time i would like to see the opponents ship in a closeup, you could add a target cam window, where you see the target you highlighted all the time, would give some action to it, and not just shooting at dots on the screen, i want to see that opponents ship and how my missiles bomb the **** out of it, the "look at" funcion does not work properly as i want to keep an eye on my own ship at the same time...

Can we please, PLEASE get the option to disable the market dialogue window that warns if you're buying something from a sell order that's calculated to be a certain percentage above regional average?

I know what I'm buying. I know what price I'm buying it at. It certainly doesn't seem that this window is working properly either, seeing as it sometimes pops up and warn me that the lowest priced order in the region is somehow still 9990% above the regional average, which is impossible.

I daresay you should just remove the window altogether.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

If it has been mentioned before, please pardon me.

I would really to see a new iteration to how we buy/sell items in the market in the windows. It is extremely time consuming to buy/sell hundreds of items one by one. There must be a better way to do this!

Also, I have never been comfortable with the button 'thrash it' next to 'repackage' or Deliver to. It should be moved way down, far away from 'normal buttons'.

I would also like a pop-up that says 'You have no skill training set'. Many times I thought I pressed 'Apply' and it didn't and hours, sometimes days pass without me checking if its ongoing.

More full beard styles (larger beards too). The beards also need to support light hair colors to look good rather than looking blurry.
