It is a real shame that Boson took himself out of the picture, I was looking quite forward to an organised event that I could learn from. I was just a defenseless miner before all this started, and now my ship is named 'Hot Drop Bait', in anticipation of being attacked just for being a miner. Now I got skills and equipment to give the griefers a good run for their ISK - and no event happened. I am shocked - I expected to be hunted down and mercilessly killed repeatedly. I expected that the use of 'Carebear' in my name would make my death a coveted one among the griefers, I had tears ready and EVERYTHING !?!

Sigh, so now my time is spent skilling up for playing the ISK market, if mining is not going to be the fun it promised to be, then perhaps I will find some excitement in the ISK market.

(Note to self; when organizing a game-wide event to NOT frack off the game developers.)

Um.. no. In fact, it would appear that the Goons could very well be ganking not only the miners, but gankers as well, in a meta game sort of way.

Setting a date, the date comes, gankers go gank hulks because they think it's starting, and the date is pushed out. The new date passes, gankers to gank hulks, the date is pushed out. Rinse, repeat, lulz.

Maybe I am being premature here in thinking that just MAYBE, EVE has finally evolved to a new state. The so called Gankers have realized that the only reward for destroying the hopes, dreams and plans of those who are only trying to make a living in EVE in the direction that EVE has guided them, is to justify their antisocial behaviour in a group hug. In banding together they have justified themselves that their greefing of the majority of the population is totally excusable. When it is NOT. Here is to hopeing that just maybe EVE is growing up.

Just because you CAN be an Asshat, does not mean you HAVE to be an Asshat.

EVE should be a game of cooperation and shareing of goals and what each can do to to reach them.

Just because the game offers the opportunity to totally destroy the plans and dreams of another player does NOT mean that you Must do this.

This game is the most realistic simulation of RL that there is. Why should any player submit to the Bullying of a few and the IDIOTS that follow them, because they can not form a single socisble thought of their own. Have we learned NOTHING from human history? Grow Up.

GROW UP: You are a single being in a social society. Start actig like it, you only condem yourself.

Why are you wasting your time waiting for someone to run this event, who has quite clearly stated that THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME AND WILL NOT ORGANIZE H'geddon.

Nothing says that Helicity MUST be the one to run it.

It's great to read that Helicity is unbanned. Didn't expect CCP to do that actually.

AAAAAAAAAND we're back.

I apologize for the horrific delays (being banned and all).

But I'm happy to report things are back on track. I just had a meeting with The Mittani (presently banned) to hammer out details.

Hulkageddon V will start right after JITA IS BURNED TO THE GROUND.

The Goondwarm hulkageddon care package is the NEW thing this year:

For every ten hulks/macks you kill AND send a congratulatory evemail, you will receive 100 MILLION isk.

That means everybody wins!

There will also still be the regular prizes, which I will begin a collection drive for starting next monday.
