My first Dance with Piracy,

Pulling the trigger felt better than the night i fell in love. The sensation of my fingers tugging at destiny once again, emotions wrapped around the object of complete release. Like that heated night he took control, fear gripped at my mind only to leave my heart pounding with excitement when he exploded, only this time i was in control.

My eyes were wide open as i rocked with the body of my ship in the aftershock as my boyfriends mining barge exploded in a bright flash only five hundred meters away. For a brief moment i felt regret, just like when he heard me say "yes" five hundred nights before, but revenge is such a sweet taste on the bitter grin of my black lips.

As i drifted in space, waiting for concord to take me into custody, I reminded myself why i was wrong. I closed my eyes and remembered the image of the man who swore he was different than the rest. I was a young exotic dancer and I believed him and for him i gave all of myself.

My ship shook violently as concord took no prisoners, for a brief startled moment my eyes opened and looked out at the dozen police ships about to exact their justice. Swallowing my fear one last time i closed my eyes to remind myself why i was right.

The image of the man i loved, who was supposed to love me was laying on-top of another woman in our bed. The image of his disgusting face that turned to me only to ask what i was doing there while i held his gift in my shaking hands.

Everything went dark after a burst of violence from Concord and for a soothing moment of time i felt nothing but peace.

Then my eyes opened again to see the gloomy shadows inside the clone facility. The next thing that crossed my mind.

"Find the ***** that slept with my man and hope she owns a retriever too."

You seem....upset.
But yeah, interesting story. Innuendo's could have been a bit more subtle. Also it seems just too straight forward. But eh, I'm picky.

Nice tale Ms Dancer.

Could empathize. Erica's first dance with piracy was an ex-boyfriend. He betrayed her in a way also, but is gone now. She'd certainly murder him though, if she ever saw him again.

Looking forward to reading more of your stuffs. Smile

It's not really something I'd enjoy writing about.

Nor something that Erica would appreciate being shared. Pretty sure it's a bad memory she'd rather forget. Blink

It's not mine to share, or let go of. It's Erica's.

Why not update your clone and go visit her system to ask for yourself?

Saves having to spam up Ms Dancer's thread.

I walked into the bar, thirsty as hell after another nineteen hours in that stupid pod. Why in gods name is that the limit of our technology these days? I have to be curled up, surrounded by a bunch of disgusting, smelly used clone goo, hooked up to massive wires just to control a damn spaceship? Must have been designed by men sitting in front of a computer instead of ... oh great.....

"Hey babe, i saw you at the ...what system was it...that miners dive, you were dancing. Hey gorgeous you got a nice butt, how about you dance for me, ill give you a hundred ISK."

You know, its hard having to deal with men like this, thankfully i don't have too anymore. I ordered my drink as two of my body-guards grabbed this ******* and dragged him out of the bar, his screams didn't last long as my boys turned him into hamburger then threw him off the hangar railing, that fall will leave a mark.

Where was I before i was so rudely interrupted by some pervert. Oh, wondering why i have to use a pod to control a spaceship and why i have no crew according to concord. Guess dancers are not the only people marginalized and taken for granted as human beings. Maybe we can convince concord to actually recognize crew on ships.

"This is a good beer, drinks for the others too. So who owns a retriever here?"

Thank you for reading my story everyone, it's a very fun game.

"No, I don't want too" I said fearfully, practically gasping in protest. I held the gun in my shaking hand, my arm felt like rubber extended outward, the gun felt so heavy.

My boyfriend yelled "Do it Niki, just pull the trigger"

I was frozen, how did it come to this? We were just having a good time, I was drunk and wanted to go to his place.

"Niki, he is scum, i own this place so nobody will care, he was going to **** you, do it Niki"

I looked down at the drunk man my boyfriend held down on his knees. The man was angrily looking past the gun at me, spitting foul smelling profanities that i didn't hear. All i heard was noise. So much noise and I was holding a gun i didn't want. My hand shook so bad my boyfriend reached out to steady me and pulled me closer so i was at point blank range.

"Niki, hey if you want to fly with me your gonna have to kill him, get it over with, do it!"

Time seemed to stop and i was dancing again.....

As her hands shook handling the gun I sat and watched. Every time her boyfreind spoke my stomach hurt. His voice somehow annoyed me, however she captivated me. I took a drink of my cognac and enjoyed the burn while watching her. Her boyfreind who was pinning a person to the floor struck me as a doofus. He was big, clumsey and emotional. As i took another long drink my pistol began to speak to me. It would whisper smooth elegant suggestions in my ear. "Just shoot all three of them and leave. Everything will be restored to a harmonic fashion once the screaming stops." it suggested. "I can't, I find her just absolutly facinating and beautiful" I replied to the pistol hoping it would stay quiet.
"Just do it!" the boyfreind screamed, which made me roll my eyes. Everyone was watching as the scene unfolded. Made me sick to my stomach that nobody had saved her from the likes of these simple bastards. "Maybe I could just shoot both of the men and take her away from all of this, maybe to Gallente space where she could be doted on by a wealthy industry tycoon. Maybe she could find love. Then the thought rang to mind that maybe she was so jaded like so many other space females, and that she couldn't find it in her to settle down and love? Could she have children and be a loving mother here in the cosmos?
"Use me to end the scene and take her to be yours. She could learn to love you." the pistol tempted while hanging under my leather coat. I am not worthy of a creature like her, however i do find it tempting to preform a good deed force once in my wretched life. I replied to the cold steel. All too often i watch these long drawn out scenes take place and concord does nothing to save the less fortunate. "Well pistol I believe we have came to a common ground" and then I stood up from the barstool.

As old uncle Freddy layed in the med bay dying, there was nobody around. He had dismayed and burned bridges with everyone. His family disowned him to include his children. The room was dark and empty, with ony the sound of beeping comming from the machines. His clone system had been deactivated after he had made a sarcastic remark to the people who monitor the clone bays and offended them. Therefore destroying all of his clones. There was no beautiful light shinning through a window upon his withered body, nor human holding his hand. Scars on his frame told no positive stories about his life. He was irrelevant to the entire cosmos. A tear rolled down his face as he took his last breath, while being completly and utterly alone.

EVE is what each individual makes it.

I for one appreciate any works of fiction I read here as an individual expression. Perhaps you've something more creative to share? Smile
